Does (low) 5 digits plays 6 stars maps?

I'm somehow #93k and I can't pass a 6 stars map, even farm maps. Almost everything in this game can kill me (streams > 170 BPM, 210+ BPM bursts, AR10, HP7, widescreen jumps, sliders hiding other sliders, weird patterns, ...)

Am I the only in this situation?

just try playing higher star maps slowly, but don't go too far or it will mess up your reading.

I'm not trying to fc 6* maps. Because.. Skill issue.

Do anything that's comfortable for you. Everybody has different goals. If you desire an improvement, then push your skill a little outside your comfortable zone.

Naw, I'm in a similar situation, I'd say its 90% down to the fact that I don't play many harder maps, so just play harder stuff. Alternatively just accept it and forever play 4 and 5*s coz they're fun.

I only push for 6* scores that require an emphasis on left-handed speed or finger control. I can burst & play consistency maps fine (stream maps esp.), but anything with wide jumps I will usually avoid to practising on lower SR.

The average SR on my top 50 plays have been increasing quite gradually & I like to play osu! with a progressive mindset in mind. There is no pressure for someone with a particular rank to play on a specific rank range.

some people do, farmers, jumps, low acc, derankers / offline players, those kinds of stuff. but mostly i dont think even mid 5 digits play 6 stars, especially if you dont farm, as high 5 stars are freakin hard (which already gives 300pp no mod non farm). theyd have probably a 6 star fc but i dont imagine they can play 6 stars consistently.

heck im low 5 digit already yet i still play like a 200k

Nah, totally the same here, I basically can't play them at all and my gameplay completely collapses on maps that don't cater to my skillset.

A lot of them do, but they have issues with combo and acc.
If they didn't have these problems they would pretty much be 4 digits.

In my case I only rarely play 6 stars and for fun, I don't actually take them seriously
My view on it is that people either play it for fun, farm (medal/pp) or they just don't

Idk. Usually i play 8stars (dt) and trying pass them like honesty dt or justadice fiery dt. But when im was an 6 digit 250k rank nomod player (3 month ago) and before star rating rebalance im was playing and choking sotarks farm maps top diffs. And they was a 6 star. Monichrome butterfly, quaver fiery and other other maps was easy to me when im was 200k.

for me, not really, i only play 6 stars either when i want to grinding skillset or when the pattern is fun to play
since i feel like most of the map on 6 stars level feels a bit overmapped compared to high 5 stars level, but that doenst mean you can't find enjoyable map on 6 stars
so yea, in the end of the day, no need to care about the rank and what you should or must do, just play the game the way you enjoy it

by pass do you mean no misses or 50's?

I'm not a 5 digit so take this any way you want to but I'd say it's just because you're a consistency and ACC player (pretty cool) and it's a whole different skillset than farming 30 seconds cross-screen jumps, I cant FC 10 minute maps with 99 ACC like you do but I can pass pretty much any 6 star map.

when i was a low 5 digit i didnt even look at 6* maps just keep playing whats fun for you and slowly keep rising the sr of the maps you're playing

6* at your level is probably too much on the challenging side. My advice may be a bit irrelevant because I'm a worse player, but I'm comparing you to my friends who are around your range and they can't really pass one either unless if it meets their specific one trick ability, like stream heavy or jump heavy. I don't think you have to worry about it, but once you eventually get to that level, I think practicing your jumps will aid you the most.

When it comes to aids readings I tend to skip those maps because I'm baby, but maybe practice tech maps or finger control if you really want to get your game on.

ive had the same problem here,i get killed on 4 5 and 6 star maps,im a 5 star player,i do play lots of maps that most likely jumping maps but then one day i couldn t do any map exepct for 3 star maps,i had to start all over again and took me 8 months,i played nice and slow
but from this problem i can only play 4 star maps, 5 star maps were slow for me 1 year ago,but now i cant do it

I can play some of them but cant fc them, I was a pass player before, probably due to that. But yeah, 5 stars and 6 stars seems like a big difference. Just improve on your own pace but not as slow as me.

If you mean on catch, no. Most of them can't even FC a 4* map.

If you mean for standard, idk.
