Ohh Arcaea! I love that game!

I literally haven't played any other rhythm game other than osu (unless if you count geometry dash even though it's more of a platformer) I'm looking forward to playing Phigros and Arcaea soon thoguh.
outside of osu, probably friday night funkin for a more casual experience

My favorite rhythm game besides osu is Taiko no Tatsujin probably the Project Diva series, although it's mostly based on nostalgia rather than gameplay quality. Unfortunately, the rhythm game I spend the most time on is a cash grab gacha game, so I probably just have shit taste.
As a mobile RG player here's my own tier of the games I knew, ranging from "The one I have to download first after setting up a phone" to "Why does that exist /s":

The only rhythm games I play outside of osu is robeats and voltblox (which is inside of Roblox)
besides osu i only really play rhythm games for the cute boys so hypmic and enstars are probably my favorites right now.

For me I tend to play Love Live SIF. Although I tried other rhythm games as well like Geometry Dash but after years of playing on mobile I got bored.

I used to play BanG Dream! Girls Band Party for 3 days before realizing you cannot get SS even if you have all perfects because it's a Gacha game. But the illustrations are lovely.
On the computer side I definitely love lunatic rave 2 although setting it up was a pain. And now I rarely play it.

I've been playing Guitar Hero long before I have picked up Osu. So it was my intro to Rhythm games. Sadly Guitar Hero/Clone hero destroys my hands 10X more then OSU.

It's been too long I know about Rhythm Games and yet I still don't play much of it. The only rhythm game I played is the otherx modes from osu! and O2JAM - I rarely play it nowadays.
I love taiko no tatsujin (although so far I only played the taiko gamemode on osu!), I would love to play it at an arcade, unfortunately there aren't any here...

Reanswering this question now that I've actually played rhythm games in an arcade, I'd have to say I really enjoy Taiko and Groove Coaster, and my favorite mobile rhythm game would be Project Sekai

started getting into mania more and is seldomly playing etterna and quaver

None because I suck at rhythm games (the rhythm part mostly). I still wonder how I got hooked into playing osu! since I didn't even watch/read Japanese stuff when I started. osu is actually what made me start watching anime lol
