There has been a wave of negative sentiment against GMTs lately on OT.
But the way I see it, a lot of the criticism of denizens are very emotionally charged and irrational. Granted, some of their frustrations is very reasonable, but the way they would lash out in protest against GMTs is unacceptable.
GMTs represents a thin line between law and order, they're the one keeping the peace in the forums.
Back around 3-4 years ago, OT was a barren land and no GMTs would even come near it, people were shitposting everyday.
But now, with GMTs the amount of shitpost has decreased drastically!
Yet, a lot of people would ignore this fact and would blame GMTs for everything bad that's happened.
Am I saying that no GMTs ever did anything bad? Of course not. But not all GMTs are bad and we shouldn't let one or two bad apples ruin the reputations of all GMTs. GMTs are also people!
And the statistics don't lie, the GMTs shouldn't be blamed for doing their job. A lot of people say that GMTs hates OT Denizens, but it's only be cause OT Denizens are the demographic that's most likely to shitpost!
13% of OT Denizens posts over 50% of all shitposts.
That's how bad it is.
So it's time for OT to take accountability and stop the GMTs hate!
