The Hunger Games - osu! GMT edition [ENDED]

Credits to JustABeginner for the idea. Sequel of the OT!Hunger Games?

All of the 72 current osu! global moderators (as of 2024/09/26) have been put in an arena. Those people, used to be feared by most of the osu! community, had to fight each other to the death until only the winner remain. Who survived? Who is the strongest GMT? The answer is most likely here :)

This Game may include graphic Content (in text form), that I will blur out or remove it for security reasons, for obvious reasons (althrough I checked the settings and there should not include something inappropriate here)

THE CHOOSEN ONES (with status)


All GMTs have been divided in 21 districts of 3 to 5 people, according of what they're mainly doing in the team.
I did my best to make the team and try to not unbalance too much the amount of people per team, don't blame me please

Especially considering that a solid 70% arent on the forums and another like 10% barely moderate anything

I like how despite of having so many german moderators, Corne didn't bother to put them in a german team but instead split them all to somewhere else, or in Felix's case, they didn't.

The goal was to make teams with the same size, and among the german moderators, almost everyone was doing something else in addition of chat moderation which I found interesting to highlight (Lyawi at forum moderation, RockRoller at skinning, etc.)

There's no way 3 GMTs eliminated from the same modding community team in just 1 day. 😭

Which is funny, because I did a test run on 76 players a few days ago and there were like 30+ players got eliminated on the first day. This one is only mild eliminations.

Day 2


This day has been very deadly, with lot of people killed. But this isn't over at all. Lot of small groups has been formed and looking for other tributes. Also we can highlight an incredible suicide pact made by a group of 4 people, all killing themselves at the same time.








Fallen Tributes


A lot of cannon shots can be heard in the distance, 17 to be exact, for the participents who died during Night 1 and Day 2, which was 25% of the moderators alive.

No district has been completly erased, but for several of them, have only 1 member remaining: #russian (10), #spanish (11), #korean (13), and most unbeliveable, the moderators of the modding/mapping community (14 & 15), who were 9 at the beginning (the biggest group, which has been split in two), are now only 2! (1 for each district)





Now only 51 gloabl moderators are alive for the victory.

Night 2


A night relatively peaceful, where most people try to sleep or talk to each other. They were a few fights of course,but most of them left the moderators in alive. This won't be this peaceful once the sun rise up...

As excepted, the fight continued, and isn't going to end. Lot of interactions happened during the day, and for some, it didn't ended well...





Fallen Tributes


As usual, cannon shots can be heard in the distance for the moderators who didn't survived Night 2 or Day 3. During these last 24 hours, 8 people lost their lives.

Day 3 is also the first day where a district has been completly destroyed, and there are two of them, which were already in struggle: #russian (10) and Modding/mapping 1 community (14), while in the 2nd group there's still 1 member left (15). #spanish (11) and #korean (13) are still in danger with only 1 member left, but now with the Support Team (3) as well,




Today, there's only 43 gloabl moderators left for the victory.

Sorry for the late upload I was tired asf tonight.

I'll upload Night 4 later in the day, before sleep (it's 12:35pm as I write this)

Some people are healing each other, how cute. Also in this day: a failed ambush, explosions, fire, and even more violence.

11 cannon shots can be heard in the distance.

The entire moderators of the modding communty, who where in the largest numbers, are now all dead (14 & 15). This is also over for the #russian (10) moderators (lucky for Kobold84 for not being here) and for the skinners group (6), where these last 24 hours killed its 2 survivors.

For the asian chat moderators, this was also an horrible day for them. They were 4 out of the 6 originally alive 24 hours ago... Now there's only 1 moderator left, in the group #2 (20). The first group (19) has been completly erased.

In additions of the surviving districts with only 1 member left already in danger yesterday, and Chat Asia 2 (20), we can now add: #indonesian (8), #polish (12).

These games are doing very well for forum moderators for now, with Off-Topic (1) and Forum moderation (16) being the only teams with still all of its members.





There's only 32 moderators. We passed the mark where there are more dead people than alive.

No districts were destroyed today but #indonesian (8) and Tournament Management (17) are now in danger, with 1 member left.



As of today, only 25 moderators are still alive to compete for the win.

After Night 5 which was absolute cinema, there weren't much fights as before... Maybe because there are less moderators alive.

So what about the remaining districts? First this is the sudden end of General Moderation (2) and European Chats (18) (meanwhile for chat Asia (20), spboxer3 is playing Doom)

With the Death of Lyawi, Blushing and Ganondorf within the last 24 hours, there isn't any district with all of their member alive anymore, and for remaining districts, there aren't more than 2 member alive.




Only 16 moderators are still here to be the winner from now.
