Yea, once I get around to messing with daw's and good enough at my instruments to make music im just gonna learn reaper.
Can just use it completely free after the evaluation same as win-rar and just pay $60 if you ever make stuff you want to monetize. (Hardly anyones making enough off music to need the commercial license).
Already messed around in there a bit transcribing drums from songs and to listen back to guitar practice, seems nice once you figure out the ui a bit.
Virtual instruments seem to be the real money sink though...
