Long time no see. I'm not going to stick with the cool formatting I had here because honestly I don't like BBCode formatting anymore. Markdown is so much comfier IMO. Anyway...
This was announced months in advance, but it is still a big moment. TL;DW: He is semi retiring. He will continue to throw stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, but he will stop doing this weekly and he will spend time with his loved ones.
So, what do you all feel about this?
I feel like it is long overdue and I'm happy for him to finally take a step down. I'm also happy to see him be honest that he would hate the kind of job massive YouTubers end up taking. I like it when YouTubers are more or less homegrown, organic or simply put still just a guy with a camera and something he/she thinks it is interesting.

idk I watched some of their videos sometimes, don't have a strong opinion either way
i keep forgetting how fast this guy uploads, honestly, at least he isnt fully quitting rather semi uploading and spending more time with his fam, which is nice.

we had like 2 cartridges which contained hundreds of old retro games, but the 2 i really liked was Mario and Contra
Mario the furthest i gotten was around world 5, and Contra i nearly beaten half the game...

For the Tom Scott question, feel good for him that he decided to take a break. I haven't watched all his videos, but I watch one semi-regularly and they're excellent.
For the retro stuff... Yoshi's Island is incredible, possibly my fav game of before 2000.

I mean... I was already gaming around 2000 so i played "retro" games in that sense. Can't say i've gone back specifically to play games that old recently tho.
