Seems nice and friendly people, sometimes a little weird but I'm okay if they're happy with their passion. Clearly the hate they get isn't deservedWinnyace wrote:

The only Gran turismo game i played back then was GT4, and younger me wasnt really a fan of sim racing back then, i just really liked NFS's more arcade racing, so i didnt play it that much, maybe older me would have liked it now, but i currently havent tried playing it again, i am playing GT7 currently, and while i do enjoy playing it and its multiplayer from time, and the fact its the only "good" modern racing game currently, the negative's of the game make it not one of my favorites.Karmine wrote:

for the list i kinda just merged both together, games that were/are genuinely great or ones that i had fond memories playing. mw2 was simply just my first shooter, and my first experience in multiplayer gaming in general, hence why it’s on there.Patatitta wrote:

when cerno said that MW2 is one of their favourite games, did they mean it was the game that they have one the fondest memories of but wont really play today or one of their favourite shooter to play in this current date?
for me, the games I listed where the ones I enjoyed the most while I was playing them, not the best games I would recommend today. It's better to clarify to avoid confusion
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of racing sims either (I'm very bad), NFS games were lots of fun when I was a kidHydreigon wrote:

Havent played Ace combat but I do remember enjoy playing a lot of flying sims back then, and younger me likes to crash the plane most of the time, so yeah... i was a plane fanatic back then, but nowadays not so...

it's not that clear cut most of the time tbh. For example, when you're talking about "the greatest game ever", some people refeer to the original mario bros as it had a lot of impact, however, by modern standards, mario 1 is not the greatest game ever made. When the argument is presented, is hard to argue against mario 1 being the greatest game ever unless we specify the grounds we're talking about. With favourites is the same thing really, someone will call the favourite the one that they're playing the most rn, not the one that they have enjoyed the most in the past and other similar thingsWinnyace wrote:

the reason i never finished the game was because i would spend my session just playing crash mode lol. would constantly try and one up my pb and it never gets boring because its just so satisfying to see your car cause a national tragedy every single fucking time. i think till this day i still remember the exact line for my high score in waterfront lol.Hydreigon wrote:
