Revamped Denizenship Initiative 2023

The Denizenship system previously run by the Old Government (Parliament) failed to elect new Denizens for a quarter of a year. Whilst their efforts up to that point was more than respectable, a backlog was growing and action was not being taken. The Grass Party, PadOT! Coalition, a GMT and the current President of Off-Topic has taken their duties without notice. The previous 2 Denizens (Yoony1, Marco) have been elected by this new initiative.
What will not change:
- 8 Months & 20 Pages of OT Posts
- An achievement of some sort (read: 'What will change')
- Elected by a group (read: 'What will change')
- Individuals CANNOT leave Denizenship status
What will change:
A registration system alongside the current scouting method will be implemented (and kept, as long as it passes the first few tests). This means that, any Dweller who deems themselves worthy of Denizenship is capable of claiming their own achievements, and negotiate why they should be nominated as a Denizen, so long as they meet the requirements of 8 Months & 20 Pages. This may run alongside the traditional scouting method. Do note that in the rare occurrence that a Dweller is denied at registration, they may re-apply in 2 months.
Why the new system?
This keeps Denizenship more sustainable, and potentially more accurate.
Gen 9/10 description change:
Self-Explanatory, the Gen9 description seems relatively weak. As for Gen10, we'll be in charge of altering their description once it ends. I'll be using this thread for it's intended purpose, as a base for Gen9's description, feel free to bring it back if you have any suggestions.
Starting and Ending a generation:
This may be discussed in the future, but do note that we will try to make this process less confusing.
