A profile picture is important

I sometimes thought about this too when choosing my profile picture. Though In the end, I don't care much.

People can construct whole different persona on the Internet than their real self counterpart but I'm not too sure about this. When I can't visually see who might be this person be, idk, I just not think based on their pfp

Well, there are a lot of nuances as to how to judge someone by their pfp, the personality of the character can be completely different as appearances might suggest, or the source where that pfp came from, or whether the person is using that pfp ironically or not. You can get a general idea of the person but the image is still to vague to judge properly.

Except if they're using an ahegao pfp, these people are to be avoided.

Yeah, it just gives a vague idea of who the person might be, but can be very wrong
