those overhangs at the roofs on the front should have another stair under them to make them look better like this

it's one of the most popular roof designs, i don't know why you didn't use it

also, this is just my personal opinion, but i think using dark oak everywhere isn't a good idea. you can use it on the roofs but i think having the walls be dark oak too just doesn't look very good. you should use a contrasting color for the walls, and since you already have white accents around the build, i think you should put some white on the walls too.

white concrete would be best, but i'm guessing you don't have access to it yet, so using anything white would do.

another thing you should do is strip those dark oak logs. they look much better especially when used with white concrete

Yeah, I know about the things you've said.

But with the roofs, doubling down on them would make them looks too thick. And you can't place blocks inside of them properly as a result. So I don't like doing it.

And with the second one, yeah, I actually tried that before. But other types of wood or even white wool, quarts, concrete etc doesn't really mix very well. It looks a bit weird. (at least without texture packs)
So in my experience, using one type of wood is better than mixing. At least for these types of houses.

And the colour I chose was from a picture I found online too, so I wanted to stay true to that pic.

place slabs under them then. it doesn't look as thick but still makes it nicer to look at

This makes me think of something. There is a mechanic in the game called "Mob cramming" which basically makes it so that if you have too many mob in one spot they will start to take damage. This mean you could put a lot of cow into a small pit and then jump into it to be killed by even cow.

Idk, when I first came to the server, I haven't been playing Minecraft in a very long while.
And back when I was playing, I wasn't interested in survival at all so I just played in creative and replicate cool buildings I saw in pictures.

So when I first got into the server, it was a pretty fresh experience for me, and tbh I felt like a kid again playing the game. Hours were sunk into it, the day just comes and goes without me realizing it. Heck, I couldn't even sleep because I was so exited to play Minecraft lol.

But now after having built all of the things that I wanted to build so far, I don't know what to do in Minecraft anymore.

I guess the feeling isn't too dissimilar to when you get a box of Legos. You get exited for it, played with it all day and tried out all possible combinations. But after a while, you get a bit bored with it

Something similar happens to me whenever I play minecraft, I play it for a good while, enjoying the new features they added in latest updates, then leave it for months because I don't know what to do and so on. There are other games in where that happens to me too.

this is slander - I have never "disposed of" a single one of those villagers, and they get to socialize, are paid a fair wage, and never need to fear the hordes of zombies that regularly attack villages.
