I started mapping again. This time I'll make it better and not exceed the difficulty. Key count has been securely kept at 4. Right now I think it syncs fairly well.

Today failure just hit me like a bus, efforts, hours spent on online class/seminars and money feels like went to waste. Rewards are slow. On the other side we learned something and will hopefully use this as an experience to move on.

Me and my friend played ONE game for TWENTY minutes.

As I played, I pondered to myself, "Why on earth did I like this game? I have been doing this for several minutes to no avail!" Truly, why? Why does it take 20 minutes for ONE GAME? Would I even win and rank up in that game?

got my old ML account back so i tried playing ML in an emulator and the first 3 matches were...

pretty terribly frustrating (as you can see the last one I went and left since both the mage and assassin were fighting for buff and were feeding)
oh well, its classic matches anyways so I didn't really expect much seriousness anyways...

i started playing hard when i couldn't get used to normal, and before even getting used to hard, i started playing 4 star maps. i remember going absolutely insane when i couldn't play a 4.9 star map because it had "insane" written on it. i couldn't even get a good accuracy on hard that time.

you can improve your profile accuracy, just set some high pp high accuracy plays (you could also increase the current acc of your top plays).

longer maps have less difficulty spikes and they aren't very pronounced, but you have a higher chance of shitmissing
shorter maps have more pronounced diff spikes but it is easier to retry.

if I were you, I'll go with a map that I actually like.

after 3 months of owning a tablet, i have seen my aim improve drastically from the times when i used a mouse, setting top play after top play, fc'ing and choking 5* maps and smashing my previous scores without much effort.

however, there is one score that i still can't beat to this day.



this map nerfs me. this map takes my ability to stream away from me.
i used to praise myself for getting this play, but now i hate myself for it. no matter how much i try, i can't get another fc on this map. which is a shame, because i really like this song and want to see it join my ">100pp plays club".
i will keep trying and update when i manage to do it

Today (technically yesterday i guess) I had my first full play session with a new tapping style, index and ring finger. My ring finger is still sore (not pain dw) like 5 or 6 hours later.

normally, i slider break on things that make sense; slider streams, a slow slider after a fast part, sliders that appear right after huge jumps...

this was a normal 1/2 slider.
this is the saddest top play i have.
i fucking hate this score.
i can't fc those jumps again.

today I played whatever I wanted and ignored SR, had fun for once. Even though I know that's not a good way to improve i still wish it was XD. decided since I'm just building strength in my ring finger rn i could just do whatever and go full 6 digit 7* illness for today.

Last week my left earphone suddenly died without no cause. Fortunately, the earphone is modular and I only need to replace the cord.

Today, I see my cat on my desk chewing my earphone cord. Now I know the reason.
