updated tags, fixed video offset to ~~-250~~, and checked for anything that may have been incorrectly snapped. everything should be good to go now

edit: changed video offset to -430 after getting some more opinions. should be more in sync now

combo 1 and 3 basically look the same in gameplay, i think u should try lighten combo 1

hitsounding can be improved a bit the 1/4 feedback is a little lacking in some areas (referring to top diff here):

00:29:445 (6,7) - i think claps would work really well here cos the triplet consists of two snares

00:56:172 (5,6,7) - 00:59:081 (5,6,7) - really hard to tell what's being followed here. 00:55:808 (4) - seems to cover the vocals but then 00:59:263 - gets skipped, only to return to the vocals 00:56:717 (6) - but leave out 00:57:081 - :c i ctrl + g'd 00:56:172 (5,6) - to better follow the vocals in both cases. the red tick right before the downbeat is left out to avoid these sections from becoming to dense with 1/2, though,
so i think it's okay to ignore this vocal

01:07:808 (2,3) - can u space these instead of stacking? you already have a high density of stacks used during 01:05:990 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - that contrasts everything else that flows done

00:52:536 (4,5,1) - the way the triplet curves looks kinda messy ; / made it cleaner
01:19:081 (1,2,3) - this doesnt flow that well imo, the movement required here is so low compared to other stuff. could just swap 01:19:445 (2,3) - on the timeline yeah agree, spacing this out more feels more comfortable

my only concern is how stuff like 01:07:990 (4,5) - 01:10:899 (4,5) - disregard the change in vocals. if u made these sliders u would get stronger emphasis on the accented vocals 01:08:354 (6,7,8) this has been addressed before by others, so i decided to just change it

also i noticed 00:56:717 (5,6,7) - 00:59:626 (5,6,7) - u tend to increase the spacing for emphasis, but the jumps to 00:56:354 (3,4) - 00:59:263 (3,4) - pretty much play the same, wouldn't reducing the spacing there make more sense with your intentions? nerfed by a bit and made the (5,6,7) jumps slightly bigger to reflect the difference in emphasis

updated starr's and kencho's diffs. also copied hitsounds for ~~them~~starr and updated combo colours on all diffs. little and xxdeathx wanted different hitsounding so i'll leave it up to them to decide if they want to apply the hitsound mod you provided. thanks pentori~

As for other hitsound things, I mostly had whistles in those parts already. My justification for using whistles rather than claps is that claps feel too strong, and I want to maintain contrast between those 1/4 beats and the strong second and fourth beats of the measure. I think whistles provide sufficient feedback in those cases.

[Little's Easy]
00:35:445 - i rly think you should have more 2/1 rhythms to reflect intensity better, 00:36:899 (3,4) - could easily work as a 2/1 slider + circle I think there is enough contrast in intensity in my current usage. My rhythms in the previous section place emphasis on the second beat clap for each phrase, while the rhythms in this "slow" section are all beats 1 and 3. The difference in excitement between emphasizing clap vs. strong main beats makes this section feel less intense in the map. I really want to save the 2/1 slider + circle for the transition at 00:39:808 (3,4)

[Little's Normal]

01:07:445 (1,2,3) - 01:10:354 (1,2) - y do the rhythms change so much density-wise It just feels right to me. The vocal rhythm is different here, so I wanted to sit on the sustained notes longer.

00:00:536 (1) - kinda inconsistent how u have the slider here, but jumps everywhere else i hate starting maps with circles because it fks over hidden players and it's even a bit harder for nomod players to get a 300 before they get in the rhythm. i put a slider in front and changed 00:00:536 (1) - to circles so it's consistent now
00:23:263 (7,8,9) - ehh, theres not much point in having the jumps here when u no longer have the stressed trumpets on 00:22:172 (1,3,5) - to emphasise. the 1/4s are a lot more noticeable decided to put a jump for each of those things: 00:23:263 (7) - trumpet, 00:23:445 (8) - clap, 00:23:626 (9) - trumpet (though less stressed but still not okay as sliderend or anything), 00:23:808 (1) - finish. i feel like the intensity of this part is a good lead in to the calmer section afterwards.
01:10:899 (4,5) - since ur circles are all following vocals, this should be a slider no, in this section until 01:11:808 (1) - i am following the claps on every white tick. because of that i increased slider velocity, and put only sliders that started on white ticks or pairs of circles.

I wonder how far we can take this tho, since it doesn't specify exactly that you CAN'T use a shitton of diffs of the same level or make a double spread (we've also treated most mapsets like this anyway, so it would be strange to start doing so out of the blue) (this doesn't imply it wouldn't be a good chance to do it anyway...)

Well, there aren't any significant gaps even if we remove my Normal, but does removing my Normal improve the spread at all? I don't think so.

the difficulties do follow a consecutive order, and the ranking criteria is ambiguous on difficulties that are of the same star rating. i don't think the rules are being broken in this case.

explained this in game, but posting here for context as well.

the [Normal] and [Little's Normal] difficulties fundamentally have different rhythm and pattern designs. there are some places where they overlap, but the majority of the map is distinct from each other.

this is more apparent in the [Hard] and [Little's Hard] difficulties, since [Hard] introduces 1/4 beat distance spacing whereas [Little's Hard] doesn't.

overall, the difficulties are different enough from each other, and so the spread is acceptable.
