clarisEasy part 2
- 00:04:728 (2,3) - oh dear oh my
- 00:08:001 (2,3,4) - surprised these arent the same angle k something must've happened to it accidentally when i moved this entire to the right a bit because this was same angle before
- 00:09:818 (1,2,3,4) - all of these in the square are really super off
- 00:09:818 (1,2,3,4) - also any specific reason for the rhythm change between 00:04:001 (1,2,3) - and this? just checking was originally because the song starts to pick up after this, but i realized that the change in rhythm is kind of stupid since it's still relatively calm here, so i changed the rhythm
- 00:13:455 (3,4,5,6) - this looks a little funny because you go out of your way to make this triangle perfect which i appreciate, then have the spacing of 00:15:092 (6) - go back to the uneven spacing of the rest of the map i tried a thing
- 00:15:092 (6,1) - this is minorly off all blanket fixes after this post are also applied i'm just getting tired of replying to every single one lol
- 00:17:273 (3,4,5) - then this triangle goes back to being off after the other one was right D: chill it was off by a pixel
- 00:33:819 (2,3) - minorly off
- 00:43:273 (4,1) - on the left side
- 00:44:001 (1) - wouldn't it make more sense for this not to be NC'd, and have 00:45:455 (2) - NC'd yeah it was one or the other tbh lol
- 00:46:910 (1) - same NC structure as above
- 00:55:637 (2,3) -
- 00:57:819 (1,2,3,4,5) - there is something very slightly off about your square if you care to fix it, its the top right corner (as you can see by the DS of 5) it was just a broken stack lol
- 01:21:819 (2,3,4) - wouldn't this look a lot nicer if it was even just based off the shape that you're making? this is pretty subjective,
there's nothing wrong with the pattern design here
i know theres 2 easies but there is a lot of circles in a row in this diff, just an observation
this mod was way more nazi than the other easy sorry my aids kicked inNormal part 2
- 00:16:909 (5,6,7) - making this even would make this shape look a lot better because it's not so defined in any direction other than being a triangle honestly i think this looks fine. the movement for the cursor between these notes is triangular to make it more intuitive for beginners
- 00:33:455 (2,3) - why isn't this one like the other ones like 00:13:455 (3,5) - where is looks super nice and is clear instead of having this ugly overlap spacing in the middle
i tried a thing, maybe it looks better now?
- 01:19:637 (4,5,6,7) - pointing out the off square because it's noticable stack broke lol
- 01:23:273 (6,1) -
why is there way more nazi minute shit in the easy diffs than the normal diffs lolHard part 2
- 00:05:455 (1,2) - this is slightly slightly off
- 00:55:092 - wouldn't this rhythm be a bit better if this was clickable? you could stack the note on 00:55:273 (2) - like the others in the kiai and leave 1 where it is rn as a circle i intentionally start the chorus off with a slider instead of circles. i feel that the increase in sv is a better indicator of showing that the map is more intense here
Insane part 1
- 00:28:001 - i dont understand why you switch the circular flow here on this pattern while keeping it the same for 00:33:819 - it's not as much of a problem as much as i just want an explanation as to why if you did it consciously this was actually done subconciously lmao; it felt fine to me but i can see the complaints for this (also because gaia keeps complaining about it lol). changed this pattern and the next one so that the flow is more uniform
- 00:34:728 (2,1) - these ARENT THE SAME ANGLE
and if they are somehow the stack is making them look like they arent, you could unstack the notes and have them in the same angle of line as the sliders, that would be a cool touch no they were intended to be same angle
- 00:51:273 (3,2) - can you find a way to separate these two? goes completely against your structure so far D: done
- 01:10:182 (3,5,6) - fix line and make it the same angle as 01:11:455 (4) - for a really good meme??? fixed line; i want the (4) to be a different angle though
- 01:14:546 - imo this sounds too clickable to skip, i know you're doing the same rhythm as before but these are two vastly different vocal sounds, i think it'd be really nice to make this clickable and change the rhythm here maybe if more people suggest this; i kind of prefer having a longer slider here for lowest insane
- 01:21:092 (1,2,3) - might as well make this a proper triangle with how close it is i'm not good at eyeballing things lol
- 01:26:182 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - going to speak for everyone farming this map and say that putting the only 5 note stream at the very end like this is quite mean, i think stacking this would honestly be more fair it's really meme with the shape it has rn even though it blankets it's just kinda bleh fine,
two kick sliders then500
- 01:26:182 - same thing as in insane, except it makes a lot more sense here in the top diff: your call not for this diff though i think the stream is appropriate for the top diff

---Insane
00:01:092 (1,2,1) - put this kind of thing in your extras i think both patterns get the job done and i want the diffs to be distinct from each other; using same patterning like this makes it lose some of that distinction
---[/notice]
I looked at the other diffs
they were diffs!

So like i said your maps are p clean already so I'm mostly gonna just find personal preference stuff, but its still a different perspective so meh.Not Oreimo Topdiff
00:06:182 (1,2,3) - and 00:12:001 (1,2,3) - I feel like these would play a little better as 1/3 beat sliders instead of 1/2. I know its the top diff but the 1/6th gap between them feels a bit awkward considering its spaced even larger than 1/4 beat gaps you used in the kiai like 00:54:364 (1,1) - actually i had these as 1/3s originally but changed them to 1/2s to fit more with starr's insane. i'll discuss with him and we'll see which one is more appropriate
00:54:364 (1) - I'd probably map this as a stacked triplet with the slider being from the white tic to the blue (something like this) the piano roll here is too fast to be 1/4, so i don't think a triplet is the best idea here
01:28:273 I don't think the end of a spinner does this justice but I can't really think of a way to put a note here that doesn't sound badly with the end of the spinner (unless the end of the spinner is silenced and ends on the previous blue tic) i decided to put this as spinner end because having to hit a note on a blue tick like this right after a spinner is even more confusing due to how it doesn't land on-beat (white tick).
Ok is past midnight and I have a GD to map and sleep to get before i work in the morning, GL.
thanks for the mods~
i appreciate the concern, but when i was planning on mapping this set about a week ago, i asked little if he could do a gd and he asked if he could do a spread. there's honestly no harm in it, so i don't see why not.ErunamoJAZZ wrote:
Hi
I want to point something, so I hope take this in the best way because my intention is just to be constructive: Why not let (and help?) Little to rank his own set?
Edit: oh, and the spread looks very weird with all those insanes:

finding the time to gather people willing to mod the map, as well as the inevitable search for nominators to push the map forward also complicate things as some people might not always have the time, e.g. in little's case, so there's nothing wrong with grouping two sets into one. you can argue that it puts more work onto the modders and nominators, but wouldn't the workload be the same if the set was split in two and we each asked the same people?
regarding the spread, i think this is fine, actually. the note density and progression between the difficulties is reasonable, and there's nothing wrong with the mapset being skewed towards one end of the spectrum.
