I just can guarantee you if more people picked up touch screens and it became a "thing" (which i don't hope and i don't even think most players would consider it fun after having learnt to appreciate their aquired aim and sync skills) more people would start to complain about it. i did give you one example earlier with a jpg. you can also look up certain players' pp tables who got 'game over' scores. it is obviously broken and mindblowing to me you really consider it legit and don't see any issues with 2 biggest aspects of the game becomming irrelevant just by switching to this so called "playstyle". Are you even aware that 50%+ of all pp gained in maps like "game over" comes from aim? Do you know what that actually means when you don't need aquire any aim skill at all? I mean whenever an aim map gets ranked people argue like maniacs about the ridiculous amounts of pp players get from mere fcs (without taking add into account). Now, if touch screen would really become a more prevalent playstyle the term "free pp" would set some absolutely new standards.YayMii wrote:
To be honest, I have plenty of issues with the current PP system, so rankable touchscreen scores are the least of my worries. But you don't see me complaining, since most of my complaints either are controversial and fundamentally game-changing if fixed (as in, issues that have existed with the score system since the beginning of time), or simply don't currently have any better solution (such as the fact that certain difficulty aspects, e.g. map readability, aren't easily measurable and can't be considered when calculating a map's pp worth). But I digress.
I just want scarlet rose to be worth big pp
How can you honestly argue it was "just another playstyle" and perfectly balanced and legit when you look at the pp tables of certain players (with their rank in mind) and just realize how their top scores deviate and how their top scores are not remotely close to usual scores players around their rank achieve. It's insane to even consider thinking like that. And I explained thoroughly what touch screens takes away in terms of execution and brain process, how it differs from mouse/tablet and how it simply _cannot_ work with the current algorithm in place.
Really, I feel like talking to a wall. I made some perfectly valid points and you ignore them and insist on your delusional and irrational idea that everything was perfectly fine and balanced. It's ridiculous.
Again: It is neither balanced, nor legit, nor "just another playstyle" when a 25k player fcs an aim map around 80% acc without having any aim skill whatsoever gaining 5k rank in the process. It is not.
