We sure will consider giving a higher priority to either maps that have been in graveyard for months and longer or maps that are under our control (e.g. own maps or friend's maps), than ones that still have a high chance to get updated. But the fact that the qualified map (to the ternimus) got disqualified, and then updated and changed wasn't something we could've expected. We are not prophets.

I don't even know why you have been complaining in the first place, we're humans not mind readers or clairvoyants. We can't go around looking at every tournament mappool, the ones we're mostly looking at to not pick from are AntiBeat, OWCT and QCUP.

Expecting mappools to only have good maps that you love is like going to a sushi bar expecting to find the best burger you've ever tasted.

it was qualified during matches but it wasn't updated so we just rolled with it

And in all, MOST players would choose to play maps with hitsound (including most expert players), so I really don't see the necessity. And if you insist on playing without hitsounds, you can still add this as an exception and play other maps unhitsounded.

In all honesty, i don't think picking same maps will lead it to become "stale". Most ranked picks aren't going to be a full off copy from another tournament, and everyday there are new maps getting ranked. I also don't understand why people must view as a boring, same old map instead of a map that they have played before and definitely have confidence in doing.
