I usually use another skin as an example (open the elements of that skin and see their positioning), or just go by trial and error. Maybe there's a way more simple solution that I don't know of?Ruin Lance wrote:

How do I line up the scorebar with the background of the scorebar?
Rename your old hit300-0.png to hit300-1.png and rename a copy of hit300.png to hit300-0.png. Same goes for hit300g.pngK-F-C wrote:
I need some help with the scoreboard.
For awhile, I could use different elements for the playing field and the scoreboard (blank hit300-0.png, and a actual image for hit300.png), however, since one of the recent updates, the scoreboard seems to be using the hit300-0.png instead, displaying an empty space instead of an image. Anyone know how to fix this ?
make sure that you named combobursts as "comboburst" or "comboburst-0, comboburst-1, comboburst-2, and so on".Im Black wrote:

I don't believe there is a limit but I can't say for certain. I've used a 20 second sound file before as an applause sound and it works. The common length for most is around 10 seconds or less.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:
Is there a limit to how long the applause sound file is? If not then what is the recommended length for it?
Ok. Thank you. This has given me a general idea of how long it should be.SAOnline wrote:

In you skn.ini file search for "HitCircleOverlayAboveNumber: 1" and change the 1 to a 0, or add that line if it is not in it.NoClue wrote:
Hey guys! Quick question regarding hitnotes.
Is there any way at all to be able to have static coloring on a note?
For example: I wish to put a very small decal at the center of the note but can't get the proper effect for it because of how the hitnote layer is effected by the color change and that I wish for it to not change. I also can't apply the decal to the overlay because I've come to find out that the overlay file goes over the top of the numbers as well.
Kind of stuck but not sure if there's some sort of work around that I can use to achieve this.
Oh ho! Thank you very much. Didn't think that you could change the layering order of things.ReddScorn wrote:

That line changes the numbers to be on top of the overlay instead of behind.

Hi,
I'm currently working on my own skin. And I wanted to ask if someone could tell me how to adjust the numbers for my hitcircles, so they won't be placed next to each other once they reach 10.
Gritoit did it in his skin but I have no Idea how(he didn't just use the Hitcircle itself or the Hitcircleoverlay nor changed anything in the skin.ini).
I can just place his "default-.png" files in my skin-folder and it works. But I want to use my own files.
I'm sorry if this question has already been answered a lot of times but I didn't really know how to search for it.

ColumnWidth: 50,50,50,50,50,50,50
Colour#: x,x,x,255 (# is for the specific lane)
You have several followpoint image files, from 0 to 9 (I think), the length of the followpoint is determined by the number of those files that are not blank (the 5th file is the center of the "followline"). Just get a skin that has line followpoints and see for yourself how they should look like. The file name should be "followpoint-x.png", replace x by a number.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:
How do you make the follow point look like a line? Would you just make a lined shape follow point, or is this the animated follow point? If so then how would you go about in making it?

That will change all combo colors to be black, I just want one combo to be black and one to be green, but for the black combos the hit circle is turned black which is difficult to see the hit circle on dark maps. The problem isn't really making the combo is black, it is the fact OSU is turning my hit circle black also xDinverness wrote:
Use a black hitcircleoverlay (and SliderTrackOverride: 0,0,0 in the skin.ini too if you want the sliders to be black as well)
ReddScorn wrote:
There is no limit to combobursts. You start naming them like in an animation like comboburst-0.png, comboburst-1.png, comboburst-2.png, etc.
They always appear on set combo counts; starting at 30, then 60, followed by 100 and everytime after 50 more combo. To make all appear more frequently just add ComboBurstRandom: 1 to your skin.ini file under the [General] section of it.
