It's not really a problem if you can't mod an overdose or a rain. All maps need advices from differents kinds of players (not only insane).
Thanks for the mod =)

Uhm...this is my first time modding anything, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. All modders need to start with a map '-'
Mon français n'est pas très bon, donc je n'ai pas lu tout du fil. Is that even the right word to use? Not really, I understand what you mean but the last part is quite confusing "pas lu tout du fil" you don't really need to translate thread in "fil".
General
I really like your mapping, I had a ton of fun test playing the difficulties I could, but..
- Much, much too hard on the last three difficulties for what they're called. I'd move them all up one, and just make a new Salad I'm not totally ok with the definition of each difficulties by Deif. I'll try to explain it just after your quote.
- The offset seems slightly off, by 5-10ms. I know you said that it makes almost no difference, and that someone else found the offset, but it makes quite a difference when listening with the effects turned up, it just feels off. Since you are to day this let's go '-' Offset -5
- You don't use quite enough hitsounds during non-kiai times.Seriously I'm not a huge fan of hitsounds's spamming but if someone suggest me palces where they would be ok there isn't any problem.
I'd refer to thisFirst of all I have suggest an others definition of each diff in the first post.Deif wrote:
- Cup: The easiest level of the mapset. It should be cleared without pressing the dash button, and use a quite simple rhythm.
- Salad: Dashes can be used in them, and the note density increases a bit.
- Platter: The perfect level for the average player. Easy HDashes and the introduction of 1/4 patterns shall fit here.
- Rain: HDashes and Dashes start to be challenging and the rhythm is already complex.
- Overdose: FCable for the top players. A challenge for the rest!
"Blabla"The basis when you try to adapt peoples to something is to begin with an easy version of this thing.Krah wrote:
Just an explanation of how each diff is made.
Cup : No hdash, easy pattern, few number of easy dash
Salad : More dash, intermediate patten, few number of hdash
Platter : More hdash, difficult pattern without hdash
Rain : Difficult pattern with hdash, jump closer to hdash
If there isn't any dash in the cup people can easily be confused when they play a salad.
And it's the same thing for the hdash in the salad.
Now I'm ok the cup is probably a little harder than other cup and the same for the salad (don't forget that the bpm is 200).
But for the platter I'm not really ok :s (probably because of this one http://osu.ppy.sh/s/118690)
And the rain is quite hard I know but it's not an overdose. There isn't a huge number of hdash or many series of big jump. It's rather a map with a lot of "movements".
Cup
This seems slightly too difficult for new players, as many things look like they must be dashed. "look" you totally understand the idea here. There isn't really any need for a dash somewhere (probably just for two notes). For a beginner it's simple, "you can use the dash for your comfort but you don't really need to use it to fc".Salad
- 00:06:090 (1,2) - Slightly too far apart, maybe just a tick or two closer? Ok here, reduce by two ticks.
- 00:19:290 (1,3) - Again, slightly too far apart. ^ (3) is now more "vertical".
- 01:20:790 (3) - Should be a beat here, it feels empty.THis note don't really deserve to be mapped with the actual rythm.
- 01:32:490 (1) - Maybe a beat here? It kind of works right now, the way it is.Why not.
- 02:00:090 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - The pattern here is too difficult Space with (5) reduced
This was much too hard for a Salad, so I had a lot of fun playing it , but therein lies your problem. Not much for me to say, but I'd rather call this a Platter than a Salad.
really really fun though.
Platter
Too hard again, I'd call this a Rain instead of a PlatterAlso really fun
- 00:27:540 (7,8) - Slightly too far, because the player is coming out of moving back and forth, and then they have to transition into a hdash immediately. No, you can catch all the stream without any movement.
Rain
Too difficult for me to test play . I'd call it Overdose. Otherwise, it seems fine.
