I think dar means, BATS who don't do anything should be punished for not doing anything and/or be held in less regard to BATS who DO do things.
That's what I got from the post anyway

I agree. I always try to say "you could do so and so" or "probably do so and so" but people always end up doing it anyway. Only a few say that they don't want to change something (eg. eiji, darri)lukewarmholiday wrote:
or perhaps beatmappers are taking BATs suggestions as "CHANGE OR ELSE" statements.
How about a little table that shows how often a BAT mods / how much a BAT has modded? Adding that colour thing that was added would also be a neat factor. That'd motivate me to mod more.Echo wrote:
Actually, reward and punishment would be interesting. Obviously it can't be anything monetary. But then what would give someone motivation to mod?
That isn't really necessary, as we don't have a sole member moderating beatmaps. A BAT nomination poll would make more sense. Although, anyone with enough skill and time to become one should have already been contacted, right?minyeob wrote:
How about holding BAT election?
Read the original post and you might find outsonnyc wrote:
I wonder how is a BAT chosen..
There are currently 17 pages of pending maps, of course there is a need for a bigger BAT.Derekku Chan wrote:
Current BATs keep saying that there's no need for new ones.
take out the garbage and you're left with about 5JarJarJacob wrote:

This guy called me yesterday and told me he wanted to be a BAT.
Any chance?
I think I have the qualifications for a BAT...but anyways...True. I think.
In my greedy point of view we have enough BAT members.I don't think so. We have too many maps in pending and work-in-progress. I don't think it possible... But I want balance beetween new map/ranked map.
BAT makes some people think they are more superior than normal mods.True. I think. But some BATs (I don't want to say names) really better them normal modders.
More BATs does not necessarily mean more ranked maps. What we need to do is get all of our BATs active again.tieff wrote:

More like equal priority. It's also a judge of character, since BATs are also forum / IRC moderators, and i think its a reallyyy bad idea giving those powers to just anyone.tieff wrote:
I trust you. But modding maps get high priority, right?
Hmm... I don't know about this. Btw, this power is nothing. I don't think like really good modders wanna became BAT just becouse of forum/IRC moderation power.RemmyX25 wrote:

Items like this are considered when there are users that may have BAT potential. :3tieff wrote:
Then сandidate in BAT/Global Mod should be persone, who has long been in game and who don't use your power in bad goal.
This is to chop redundant and repetitive team things.animask wrote:
..btw if its called BAT why do they do more than just beatmap approval stuff?
