I've actually fixed this, thanks for that.Backfire wrote:

Here.
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu <3Guy-kun wrote:
Hmmmm, I think I will actually, I've finally fixed it up for smaller resolutions and once sliders are fixed, it may be time for a Beta bump and possibly a market release.
Slider ticks are fixed now (they appear same as in osu! taiko mode), although still all sliders in osu! mode appear as sliders in T-Aiko. We will work on making sliders of total length shorter than 2 beats to become dons and kats instead (like osu! taiko mode).Zelos wrote:

Yep, It'll come in due to time, It's plannedZelos wrote:

It sounds like an excuse and I hate saying things like this, but I think this is out of my control. Its up to android what is shown while a new app is loading, and this has never happened to me on my phone, so It's likely to be to do with whatever phone provider/manufacture skin of android you have.Zelos wrote:
After leaving TaikOsu, lets say I start up another up which has the average black screen loading time, the T-Aiko main screen is there until the app itself loads. (I used appkiller to end T-Aiko to see if this issue would fix but regardless that main screen was still there)
I hate this, when I can read it, but it makes absolutely no sense. Why oh why must there be multiple languages that use cyrillic letters.OnosakiHito wrote:

What kind of help?Guy-kun wrote:
If anyone is interested in helping, feel free to PM me, I'm doing a lot of work on this now so it is a fast-moving project:

Sure, it'd be useful. PM me when you're free.Zelos wrote:

place them on your SD-card in /T-aiko/Songs (place .osz files here or beatmap directories)MMzz wrote:
I gotta question, how in the world do I install maps, I got the app and such, I know whow to download maps but I don't know how to install them to the game.

As said in the app description, coming soon.Backfire wrote:
Uhh why doesent the download map button work?
Yep, this was already on my todo list, sorry that it wasn't done already.alexchan420 wrote:
Can the map location be set manually?
I don't want the map get duplicated once more with the osu!droid T.T
What map was this?Vext wrote:
Oh dear, I installed it on my Thunderbolt and it was going great, but the longer I played the more it lagged until everything pretty much froze and it took 5 minutes to even exit out of it.
Apps in the background hold RAM, but It's up to android to clean them out when that memory is needed. Background apps have much less priority over foreground ones.Natteke wrote:
Ah okay, I'm still new to Android devices. However, apps in the background do consume RAM though o.o
Hmmm, I'm considering this now that everyone seems to keep asking, the back button from the menu screen, I was against it though... I'm not sure.lepidopodus wrote:
Well, at least exiting to the home screen or terminating the application when hitting back button on the device when you are in the main menu of T-Aiko would be better? Like other applications.
Of course, this will be coming, the current score system is just a barebones one.lepidopodus wrote:
Score system(combo bonus or gogo-time bonus or something?), barlines, gekki-renta or spinner or something like that... More to improve, I guess?
- The application got error when trying to read files in songs folder with USB storage mode enabled. Thanks, I'll fix this, I got a market error report of something similar too. (My mistake)
- Some songs got duplicated when refreshing after modifying the song folder manually.I'm aware of this too and need to make improvements to the songDB. In the mean-time, if you go to Settings>Apps>T-Aiko and Clear Cache this will clear the song database and you can refresh to create it from scratch (doesn't take that long)
- Removed songs never got removed in the song list after ^ happens. Currently my db is screwed up.
- No lead-in, and this bothers me quite a lot in some maps. Also on the todo list
- Significant delay between hitting the Taiko and acutal effect of it. (This is a rhythm game, you know.)I don't appreciate being told it's a rhythm game, I wouldn't spend $25 shoving out some garbage that didn't play well to the best of my knowledge.
I think I've experienced multi-touch issue too. Maybe due to small screen and relatively small taiko drum.I highly doubt this is happening on the SII,
...Yeah, still lot more to go, but at least this may be a good application for playing Taiko in AndroidThanks, there's further to go and I'm here to do just that <:before Namco notices it lol.
Atm I don't own a Android device (but I will if it works on a tablet)Guy-kun wrote:
It does work on tablets, but isn't optimized at the moment (so it is limited in resolution to stop in looking broken), I hope to change this in the future._Gezo_ wrote:

Change 300 and 100 by the equivalents of Ryou and Ka.
This can't be anything to do with the game code unfortunately, the detection allows touches anywhere below (not sure where it is, possibly the top of the drum) extending the whole width of the screen. SO any dead spots can only really be your imagination or hardware.Yunacat wrote:
> When playing with the drum, I feel like there are "dead spots" when it comes to pressing the keys, particularly around the top of the drum itself, and the lower part of the rim. Not sure why...
> When playing any song, if I hit the notes faster than 1/4 there's lag in the presses. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just wont do anything. It's really difficult to explain, but... I also noticed that if you use only one side, you have a better chance at it reading than if you "roll" from side to side like you really should be doing.Again, if you're using the latest version(1.1), this is most likely a hardware limitation. If i can get hold of a camera I'll record that rapid touches and good performance are possible.
> It crashes. Frequently. (You probably are well aware of this though)I'm not actually, I had the idea that it was very stable and I'm not getting any error reports on the market, but this may be a false silence then. I actually don't get any crashes.
> When I started playing, I could tell it was off. I went to offset and it was default 70. I set it back to 0, and it worked perfectly fine (I used auto to listen to it to make sure it sounded right just in case). I have no idea why default was 70. Is it just how it is, or did it "guess" that from my phone? This I can understand. Android MediaPlayer is horrible for rhythm games when it starts playing, it often induces a small offset that you can't predict and reports incorrect positions in the song. I've introduced a few quirks to try and stabilize the offset and it's semi-reliable.

Suggestions:Planned and planned (first one sooner)

> A switch to hide songs that don't have "taiko only" modes (I realize this would hide taikosu too, but im not sure how to "add" taikosu to the list of "taiko only")This is a good idea, I'll put it on the list <:
> Support for custom skins (I love TnT but I love the custom skins more)I actually have the functionality for this but it's half-complete and brings a headache for resolution support (remember devices range from around 200x400 up to 1280x800) I'll put it low on the list

> Slightly bigger bars for the song listing. I'll admit my phone's screen is pretty big, but the bars still show up as small and my thumb is bigger than the bars...Are you sure? Do you have trouble pressing them? I understand they're small, but that's to fit more on-screen,
For the future:I can take a look, on the list it goes <:
> Maybe add support for the physical keys on Xperia Play (making the key settings match Taiko PS A/B/C). If I could handle the code for this, I'd do it myself...
> Custom hitsounds+special drum. Kinda like in the TnT games where you could earn special drums (and in Youkai Daikessen they were similar to weapons in RPGs) but instead you could just choose between the drums. I miss my frying-pan drum! ;o;/Maybe, maybe, I was thinking about the future for an experience/leveling/unlocking system, but this is obviously getting way ahead, thanks though
> Mods: like double time, hard rock, hidden, flashlight, etcOf course, give it time, quite low priority
Ok I'ma cut this off here so I can go sleep. If I think of anything else, I'll add it in later! /o/Thanks very much, all of this is greatly appreciated!
Only if you'll take the new version and give me some feedback on how well it works <:Kombala wrote:
Hi, can you put off direct link for T-Aiko!, becouse I haven't the mobile internet now.
For the latest version on android market., after I change the target directory to osu!droid one, then the app will be easily crashed. If it crashes after changing song folder again, please "Send Error Report" from your phone, I thought I'd solved all issues around this.
And it seems the app cannot direct process for 12X maps in one time, it freezed on about 2X maps only.
Damn, I love the sleek, minimalistic UI.<3

All the map on my phone are ranked map from DDL server used by osu!droid.Guy-kun wrote:
