The Taiko 2v2 Convert Tourney v2 (TCT v2) was a double-elimination 2v2 osu!taiko tournament hosted by Aisha and Noko_BSF. The tournament featured a variety of maps converted from the osu! game mode in its mappools. It was the second instalment of the Taiko Convert Tournament.

Ruleset

General rules

1. There can't be two players having more than 11,000 pp each in the same team.
2. The maximum team size is 2 players, meaning there will be no backup or replacement.
3. The scoring system used will be Score V2.
4. Teams will be seeded by performance points (pp) first and after that will be put into 8 groups of 4, and then top 16 teams will then proceed to the Group Stage with the top 2 teams per each group proceeding to the Knockout Stage.
5. The Taiko 2v2 Convert Tourney v2 will use double-elimination bracket, which means that there will be a losers' bracket and winners' bracket.
6. Reschedules will only be considered if both teams agree to a time. This needs to be done and notified to the tournament staff before Friday at 23:00 UTC in the particular week when the match takes place.
7. Even in a tournament setting, osu! is still a game. Please respect each other, be friendly, and play fair.

In-game procedure

1. Every player will be invited to a multiplayer room at match time.
2. The referee can wait a maximum of 10 minutes for each player to attend.

   • If a player does not arrive, the referee will ask the other team for a 1v2 start. It will depend on the other team if they want to play or not.
   • Keep in mind that abstaining from a 1v1 is equivalent to forfeiting the match.
3. Captains will decide if they want to pick a warmup map (maximum limit is 3:30) and the order does not matter.
4. Captains will use the !roll command. Each team will ban 1 map starting from the one who rolled the lowest.
5. After the bans, the team that got the higher roll picks their first map then the other team picks theirs. This is continued until the match is done.
6. If a player gets disconnected for some reason in the first 10 seconds of the song, the referee will abort the game and restart it.

   • If it happens after 10 seconds, the score before the disconnect will be counted.
7. The referee can penalise teams if any player presents bad behaviour in the game room.
8. Once the match has finished, the room will be closed.
9. If a player fails in a song and does not revive, then their score is not counted, but if they do revive it will count. If every player in a team fails, then the sum of their scores will count.
10. If there is a tie, then no points are added to any team, but the map will be considered as played. If there is a tie on the tiebreaker, then then a rematch will happen using FreeMod conditions.

Win conditions

1. Group Stage, Round of 16, and Quarterfinals: Best-of-7 (first to 4 points)
2. Semifinals and Finals: Best-of-9 (first to 5 points)
3. Grand Finals: Best-of-11 (first to 6 points)
