Gameplay
In general, I'm very fond with long and consistency maps because I wanted to train my stamina more and I believe in "the shorter the maps, the harder it is". I usually play one full run after a good intro. I only retry if I missed early on. That is how I usually farm maps.
Controls: Numpad 4 (Left), Numpad 6 (Right), Q (Dash) Mods preferred: HD, HDDT, EZDT (For having fun) I've been a convert player since the beginning, until mid this year where I've been trying to diverse myself in other mods to be a more all rounded player.
Controls: Q, W, E (Draw) Mods preferred: NM, DT I suck at aim in standard, my skill set is more to finger control and streaming because tapping makes me feel more satisfied to play than aim.
Probably will add more once I can think more but this will do for the long run. Looking at this is very unlikely but I'm not going to plan on stopping at playing this game for a while.

My first osu! tournament, low expectations since I haven't got any experience regarding tournaments so I tried to do my best in group stage. Even though I lost all three matches, winning some maps against some of the high seeded players is kinda cool, with one match going into TB
My second tournament and I've got some confidence built after 4DPT so I tried to have some wins in the bag. Those 2 wins aren't that satisfying with one of them being a WBD but hey a win is a win
It's been a while since I've joined a tourney at that time, during 2020 I didn't qualify for Suiji Tournament 1 and 4DPT3 so this year with me out of secondary school, I have plenty of time to derust my skills and join some tourneys. This was one of my fav tourneys I've ever joined, getting to know one of the top players in osu!ctb, supporting each other and going far in the tourney. XD

I was playing this tourney at the same time as Suiji Tourney 2 so I might have been lacking in prep for this tourney but I did give some close fights either way.
Probably my fav tourney out of all not gonna lie. For the first time I was able to represent Malaysia in a tournament and teaming up with some of the best 4 digit players in Malaysia so I tried my best to help my team to win some matches and go far. This was my best tournament in terms of performance with me playing basically almost every map for Malaysia and winning some crucial points, with my fav moment is my Everything will Freeze (Rew's Salad) +HDHR FC to avoid Mexico's sweep in Quarter-finals.
The first osu!catch Malaysia tournament. While it is a trial tournament to test some tournament mechanics, it has a prize pool but no badges. I took part in it while also being the commentator and streamer for the tournament. It was a very fun tournament overall with me also showing some good performances against one of the high ranked Malaysian players.
As the title suggests, this is a Battle Royale tourney where the last one in a map will be eliminated. I have to admit, I wasn't prepared that much since it was rushed and I got many tourneys to focus with so I tried my best to sightread most of the map. I got low seeded in the qualifiers and went out as number 10 in my quarter-finals lobby. Kinda good for sightreading only.
My first open rank tournament that I qualified through the solo qualifiers. The scores that carried me was NM convert and both DT maps. I got picked up by Nelly, and teamed up with Ruu and Cakenoob, which is quite a good team on paper. We fell short, mostly because it was nearing CWC and most of us weren't playing the mappools that much, with me struggling to read HD for the team even though I'm an ex HD player lmao.
My first CWC and I was so hyped and nervous at the same time. Teaming up with players that I fully respect when I was starting osu!catch was an experience. They were so helpful when I was getting used to CWC. Since there were no group stage this year, we tried to play as best as we could but unfortunately luck wasn't at our side. We were demolished by a very strong Indonesia team but at least my CWC debut weren't that bad with my 1 miss for my first map in NM2. The Argentina loss was the most painful because we could've had 2-3 points against them but we bottled it and also they were better. It was a mixed of emotions but for my first CWC it wasn't that bad.
I've already said this in a TwitLonger but this was the best tournament I've had in a while. Full of emotions throughout the tournament, from having a blast after winning a tiebreaker to comeback 2-5 against Canada to feeling a bit disappointed after crashing out from the tournament. But overall, me and my team had so much fun playing.
One of the most unexpected tourneys to happen in my opinion. Kagari sent out the registration form and all of us were surprised CTB got to be even in the tourney. This was basically osu!ctb Malaysia Trial Tourney all over again but with only active players. I got 1st seed mostly because the qualifiers were around 3 star maps so it was quite easy to get high scores. Since only 7 players playing, I got a 'bye' in the quarterfinals and would start playing in the semi-finals of the tourney. In terms of result, this was my best tourney record in getting second and also winning a prize of RM30 which is my first time getting money from a tourney. Really enjoyed playing in it and also got some cool scores.
Seed: 1st seed (Top seed) Result: 2nd place (1W 1L)
This was a redemption tourney for me since I haven't had any success in the two editions I've played but this time I was feeling confident with me fresh out from 4CWC22, the best tourney form I've had so far. Getting 15th seed, the highest I've gotten and winning confidently in the RO64 and RO32, making it my first wins in 4DPT. And then came the worst defeat I've ever gotten in my life, choking an upset in the tiebreaker against the number two seed, Sooty in the worst way possible. In the quarterfinals, I've pretty much given up on the chances of going to the semis but I tried my best either way.
First convert only cup and honestly my converts were kinda getting bad after playing a lot of specifics for tourneys but at least I was able to do well on maps that I'm good at for example normal HD converts. Also getting 1 point against 2 great players was already enough for me ngl.
I've been wanting to play CTM since last year but I was not that good enough to even be on a team so I just don't want to bother people with me not being good. Now that I've improved myself I want to join a team and luckily Eun invited me in and it was great. Even though I didn't play as much and don't understand anything at all, I had fun playing with my team and getting to my best finish in tourneys.
It's a pretty cool concept of a tourney that I really wanted to play in. So I decided to just find people to play with and we made an almost a 4 digit team with Loki getting in for floflim. The fact we somehow qualified is already impressive. But other than that we could've won a point in a match if we swapped Error and SD in accuracy place LMAO
This tourney was hella fun especially since a lot of friends were joining so we kinda enjoy all the matches that we were involved in. This was also my warmup back to tourney form to get ready for 4CWC23 so yea I enjoyed all the matches I played in this. It was also close in a lot of occasions especially in that match against Keita with DT3.
It was do or die for this year's 4CWC as it was going to be the core's last year in 4CWC so we finally made a Malaysian superteam this time around. All of us have experience in tourneys already so this should be the year we made it further than quarters. It was our hardest 4CWC to date with mappools getting harder and harder, the route weren't being nice either and other players are just cracked to the core. But we believe in our skills to be able to make a run and we made it to top 8 with no one expecting it. The France and UK win were so massive for us, the France game determined if we were gonna guaranteed semis or not, and the UK rematch going TB with us finally beating them is just insane. Prolly my best tourney yet.
So Dapu asked me if I wanted to make a team with him and so I did. Honestly I was actually quite hyped to play with this team so I just enjoy every single map I played in. The Fruitkissers match was the most fun match ever with the opponent almost making a comeback 2 hours in the match and miscalculating the win for a second but hey it was all fun and games in the end.
My first LAN tourney and it was just one of the most fun tourneys I've played by far. Meeting up with the CTB players and also other osu! Malaysia players was so good. I enjoyed every single of it. And also this is my first tourney win! Although the setup I played with weren't the same as mine but I managed to adjust to it and getting the win!
My daily life is just mostly consist of playing video games just to fill up my time. Don't worry about my studies, I have my own ways to try and succeed there. I usually just focus during classes and understand the topic in the class so that I can reduce time to relearn everything. With my university days are ongoing for the time being, it will be much harder.
Before playing osu!, I play Minecraft and Geometry Dash. Minecraft just because I'm bored and Geometry Dash is just for flexing skills in front of my friends lol. The top GD player at the time, which is Sunix, played osu!mania at that and I was like "Hey, what is this game? Later I'm gonna check it out!". With me watching a lot of Guitar Hero that time, I tried to download osu! to play osu!mania to try it out. It went bad of course but I played other game modes especially taiko since I started playing taiko for a while before switching to catch and playing standard if I want to.
9 years ago, I've been dreading for a good username so I've been taking usernames from random YouTubers and other favorite fictional characters for example, 'GokuDoesEverything' which is a combination of Goku from Dragon Ball and SkyDoesMinecraft, a YouTuber. The cringe I'm getting doing that after a year using it has gotten into me so I decided to try and make something original.
I've been watching an anime which is Cross Fight B-Daman where the main character, Riki Ryugasaki was my favorite character by far. So I decided to make the username 'RikiDracyan' where Dracyan is Riki's B-Daman. It would stick with me for a while until I decided to play Papers, Please.
Papers, Please is a game where you approve or deny immigrant in a country's borders. It's a fun game, go check it out. There's a feature that I really like the most which is the ability to detain the criminals coming into the borders. So, I tried to make a username with it while keeping the Riki persona. So, I created 'DTNRiki'. But, two weeks later I found out that there's a news company named DTN so for not been mistaken with it, I added an L after DTN which sounds more like detainable so it became 'DTNLRiki'. While now, I don't really care about the meaning of DTNL, it just stuck into the name and it sounds catchy in a way. The name has been with me until now, getting popular among my friends and also online so I'm not gonna change it for a long time.
