I can count all the days since the last new denizen on all my ten fingers. It's not been that long and we have a new denizen yet again. They are not known for anything in particular, but I heard they are pretty good at investigating. Today we have an older denizen entering the stage, one who poked in years ago and didn't come back until recent days. They are not known for much except they are cuddled in a little thread of curiosity they created. Wander do the denizens in that thread occasionally to wonder and then ponder the riddles they get for the prizes they get. Riddled the origins of their name for a prize in that thread still; name to slaying the beasts of yore. Still I debate whether they are model denizen; will they be known for time to come or leave their existence forgotten all alone? Well no matter now for now we welcome DragonSlayer96, welcome ye denizen!

We now have a 7th gen the size befitting that of the fag era. Yet it somehow feels like OT is undergoing quite a bit shedding with its denizens. Old ones leave, new ones come, rinse and repeat. Either this cycle is accelerating or I am getting too old for this. Yes, indeed we have a new denizen today yet again! Rumor has it that they were so hyped to be denizen that they set all of their 100 alarms go off just to remember to remind me that they are becoming denizen today. At this point it seems there needs to be a gen 8, but also maybe not. Dunno. Gens are not strictly based on people knowing each other, but rather the culture of OT during that time. Gen 7 began with the start of the OT Gov stuff, but it seems things are starting to change. There is much less roleplay meta in OT now than at the start of Gen 7. There sorta seems to be a divide between the boxed group on top and the rest on the bottom.

i came to OT when Sosteneshion and Plini stopped posting and when Puzzle became a denizen, i seen some of the roleplay action at that time and i did join in the action...well a bit (at that time i spent most of my time posting in FG)

I noticed roleplay strongly correlated with how much I push it. One or two threads from me prompted people to make threads for the next week or two. Or so that's how I see it

I think TheLegendaryHD, Sam, Sos, Plini and Puzzle should be considered as 6th gen since they've been more active when the 6th gen was still around.

how come I got my denizenship only in the second string of mass posting.

essentially, 7th Gen is like two groups that are the same generation. For Gen Z in IRL, anyone born after the Millennial Era but before 1999 is considered "Older Gen Z" and then after 1999 are considered "Newer Gen Z", but both groups are still treated as "fucking zoomers" by Millenials and older regardless of them having different cultures.

I agree that it's really odd for a denizen to only post in one thread, and I did allude to that in their denizen speech. Honestly so long as someone does their part in making OT interesting and not like mafia subforum they should earn the recognition they deserve. Between making one thread really great and posting barely anything but "meow" everwhere, we definitely have a spectrum of expectations here.
