Hello, M4M from your
queue.
General- Those uninherited timing changes at the start feel kind of confusing to play, especially on the easier levels. I'm not really sure what to do about them though, and all I can suggest is asking someone a bit mroe experienced with weird timings.
Easy- I feel that the general spacing of every note is pretty large for an Easy. If it were me, I'd tone it down, although doing that takes quite a lot of reworking.
- 00:25:472 (6) - New combo here since the current combo already spans over a lot of measures, and this is right after an uninherited point.
- 00:38:189 (6) - Same thing here. I personally wouldn't recommend spanning any combo over 4 measures for this song.
- 00:47:972 (5) - Is there a reason you've got a jump here on an Easy difficulty? Easy diffs should be very basic with almost perfectly consistent spacing so that beginner players can pick up the game easily.
- 01:06:885 (3,4,5) - Inconsistent spacing through these.
- 01:14:711 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Do you think it's possible to mix up the rhythm you hve here rather than just using 2/1 sliders repetitively?
- 01:19:928 (5) - New combo here since the current one is fairly long.
- 01:36:554 (2,3) - Inconsistent spacing (these are too close).
- 01:40:467 (4) - New combo should be here instead of 01:41:772 (1) since this is the hypermeasure (every 4 measures).
- 01:44:380 (1) - Up to you whether you want to break this combo up with a NC or not, but if you do, I'd put it at 01:43:076 (3) instead.
- 02:44:380 (7) - New combo here for consistency.
- 03:09:163 (3) - New combo here to break up the current combo.
- 03:14:054 (5) - And here (if you want, just NC on this one and you can ignore the other two).
- 03:16:989 (7) - And here.
- 03:34:577 (1,1) - I'd say there's too little recovery time after the spinner for beginner players to handle. For an Easy, the rule of thumb is one whole measure.
- 03:46:968 (3,4) - Inconsistent spacing.
- 03:50:229 (1,1) - As before; not enough recovery time.
Normal- 00:19:414 (2,3) - Might aswell make this a blanket.
- 00:25:146 (2) - Put the NC here since this is where you have the uninherited timing change.
- 00:31:666 (2,3) - I'd personally say that this rhythm is a bit confusing for beginner players to read. I'd try something else (perhaps a single reverse slider?).
- 00:38:188 (3) - NC should be here for the downbeat (large white tick).
- 00:40:797 (3) - As above.
- 00:48:623 (3) - As above.
- 00:51:232 (3) - As above.
- 01:12:427 (7) - NC to break up the current combo.
- 01:13:079 (9,10) - This kind of rhythm is feel is poor
polarity and is kind of difficult to read for beginner players.
- 01:15:362 (2,3,4) - This rhythm doesn't match the music in my opinion. The vocal notes are on the white ticks, while there is nothing significant on the red tick.
- 01:17:991 (2,3) - What are these notes supposed to follow? It looks like you have them snapped to the 1/16 grey tick, which is incredibly unintuitive to play and most likely unrankable.
- 01:20:579 (2,3,4) - As before about this rhythm. It comes up again a few times, so I won't mention this again (unless you want me to point out all of these for you).
- 01:22:536 (5) - NC here for consistency.
- 01:51:554 (2) - Missing clap.
- 01:53:511 (6) - NC here for consistency.
- 02:04:272 (8) - NC to break up the current combo.
- 03:18:946 (1,1) - Similar to Easy; there's not enough recovery time here. For Normal, I'd aim for atleast half a measure.
- 03:24:795 (7) - NC to break up the current combo.
- 03:26:914 (1,2) - You miss the downbeats here (which has a clear vocal note) to place this on the red tick. This is very unintuitive to play I'd say.
- 03:32:621 (7) - NC to break up the current combo.
- 03:42:729 (1) - Nc here for consistency.
- 03:48:599 (5) - As above.
Hard- 00:12:404 (5) - NC here for the uninherited point.
- 00:25:310 (4) - NC should be here since this is the first note after the uninherited point.
- 00:35:581 (2) - NC should be on these beats for the downbeat.
- 01:06:232 (6,7,1) - I'd try to keep an even spacing through these.
- 01:16:993 (8,9) - This doesn't seem to play too well nor match the music very well either. What you have now leads to a weird polarity into 01:17:645 (1) so it's not too intuitive to play. I hear the drums start on 01:17:319 rather than 01:16:993 too.
- 01:18:950 (5) - Kind of an unusual slider. I'd try to keep a regular shape for this.
- 01:19:847 (9) - The drums end on 01:19:928 , so I don't think this should go beyond onto the blue tick after it. Plus I feel that a harder ntoe on the downbeat would be suitable since that's where the new line in the vocals is.
- 01:40:467 (2) - New combo should be here for the downbeat.
- 02:05:087 (5,6) - Kind of poor polarity, and difficult to follow. There is a cymbal crash on 02:05:249 which you can place a note on.
- 02:11:690 (9) - As before.
- 02:48:619 (8) - New combo here since you switch to 1/3 here.
- 03:17:967 (3,2) - Minor: These are slightly overlapping, which I would try to avoid.
Lunatic- 00:12:404 (5) - NC for uninherited point.
- 00:22:838 (9) - NC should be here for the downbeat.
- 00:27:754 (10) - As above.
- 00:30:363 (13) - As above.
- 00:35:580 (6) - As in Hard; the NC should be on these notes for the downbeat.
- 01:10:146 (3,4) - Minor: You could make a double blanket with these.
- 01:20:743 (2,3) - I wouldn't consider this very good flow, since you're asking the player to almost go back the way they came during the slider. I'd personally flip this.
- 01:54:815 (1,2) - Is such a close spacing neccessary for these? It makes these look like they belong to the 1/3 combo previously.
- 02:01:988 (2,3) - Minor: These could be a double blanket.
- 02:09:977 (2,3,4) - Inconsistent spacing through these.
- 03:16:336 (8) - Another unusual looking sldier. If you want to use this sort of shape, try placing the grey slider point in the middle of the curve so that it looks smoother.
- 03:24:796 (7) - NC to break up the current combo.
- 03:28:709 (2) - NC should be here for the downbeat.
- 03:32:622 (9) - NC to break up the combo.
Screaming Eyes- 00:11:460 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - You could use the Create Polygon Circles (CPC) feature (Ctrl+Shift+D) here for a more regular looking hexagon.
- 00:12:404 (7) - NC for the uninherited point.
- 00:20:882 (5,6,7,8,9) - CPC for a more regular looking pentagon.
- 00:35:907 (1) - A NC doesn't feel necessary here.
- 00:40:146 (3,4,5,6,7) - Kind of an unusual shape for a stream. I'd keep the shape smooth so that's it's a bit more intuitive to play.
- 00:41:124 (1) - As before about the NC.
- 01:14:221 (7,8,9,10,11) - As before about the stream shape.
- 01:37:614 (6) - This seems to be very confusing. This is spaced evenly from 5 and 7, yet it is 1/4 beat after 5 and 1/2 before 7. The way you've spaced this doesn't represent that at all. Plus I wouldn't really recommend missing the red ick at 01:37:696 since I'd say I can hear a note on this.
- 01:45:685 (1,2,3) - I'd use a slider on either one of these so the player can ease into the 1/3 rhythm easier, rather than be expected to tap 1/3 without any warning.
- 01:51:119 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Consider using a smoother flow? The back and forth flow you have here is pretty demanding especially since you have it on 1/3 already.
- 01:58:727 (1,2) - This is an unusual rhythm. I don't see the reason wy you're using the blue and purple ticks respectively. I'd say you might aswell extend these to the white ticks so that they're more intuitive to play.
- 02:00:032 (1,2) - Same thing here.
- 03:22:838 (6) - NC here for consistency.
- 03:26:751 (7) - And here.
- 03:30:664 (8) - NC should be here so it goes every 2 measures.
- 03:32:621 (4) - As above.
Good luck.
