Hardly doubt anyone here would openly say they've been in jail.

Mental asylum is jail.
I was in jail for a life time in Bitlife. Tried escaping a few times but kept getting caught. I eventually became a drug addict and died

Ive been in the back of a police car but its because my stepdad would take me and my siblings to school in it does that count

no, but me and a friend of mine got into legal trouble for "defamation" and "harassment" after reporting a gun threat in my school from some dumbass who said he was gonna bring a gun to school, shoot us, and shoot the police officer on campus. the stupid police officer immediately jumped into the conclusion it's a false report and called my friend's mother. my friend got grounded for months for reporting a threat...

That's not legal trouble, you just got grounded because the police (correctly) assumed you were lying.
Legal troubles are only troubles when you have committed something. You can't go to jail for saying words.
being arrested for resisting arrest also doesn't count

i guess it wasn't the same as legal trouble, but you really can get into serious legal trouble for saying words (defamation). not sure if you can go to jail but in some places you can get massive fines
