  1. widescreen stuff in some difficulty

Cup

  1. 00:02:156 (1) - ctrl+h for better flow or make it stand up instead, the reason is because beginner mostly will follow the flow path thoroughly even though it can be caught without a move
  2. 00:03:527 (1,2,3) - ctrl+h to avoid anti flow, it works also for 00:05:755 (2,3,1) - . I dont know if anti flow is allowed in cup nor salad nowadays, but imo it should be avoided regarding to the diffs itself are for beginners that has just played osu!catch gamemode. CMIIW with current guidelines, i didnt modding for a while, so i wont touch another antiflow in low diffs.
  3. 00:23:413 (2,3,1,2,1) - until 00:44:670 (1) - . Those unsnapped vocals, i suggest to find some pro timer to make this clear, if you really wanted to follow the vocal. Some notes are off from the place, i find some objects which snapped at 1/12s and 1/16s, i think this is not okay to take a risk. If you want, this is my another suggestion. There is only one section of this in the whole song, so you can make this to be a slow relaxing section with 3/1 long sliders (you can add a circle at 1/2s tick if possible, it depend on the rhythm). But only 3/1 long slider is fine imo since this still a cup, you can make variant in higher diffs.
  4. 00:54:127 (4,1,2,1) - you can remove this, and add spinner from 00:54:270 - until 00:55:642 -.
  5. 01:03:699 (3) - remove this, it feels too dense although the rhythm start more faster.
  6. 01:11:756 (3) - change into a circle. You can leave the red tick blank so it wont to be too dense as its not that loud like at 01:13:299 -.
  7. 01:17:242 (3) - ^, or change into 1/1 slider and remove (1).
  8. 01:22:213 - add circle so it has similar density with 01:18:613 (4,1,2,3,4) - .
  9. 01:27:699 - ^.
  10. 01:28:556 - Kiai should end here, and no kiai before 01:50:499 (1) - . This is kinda overused kiai, imo this is not included as a chorus, as it has faded vocal that started at 01:37:127 -, its mark that this section doesnt has the intensity as a chorus, so it doesnt deserve a kiai. I hope, i can give my opinion perfectly, since my english is bad so that i cant build my words xdxd.
  11. 01:43:470 (3) - you map this, but no in the previous part. Map it or no, its better to be consistent imo.
  12. 01:48:099 (2,3,1,2,3) - this feels too dense and kinda a bit too fast for cup. Choose to follow vocal or music clearly to reduce the density. Or, you can rearrage the rhythm if you want to keep the density (at least i have something more better that follow both music and vocal clearly). *picture
  13. 01:55:299 (3) - change into circles, so that the 1/1 gap at 01:55:470 - can be filled by larger spacing. It makes the emphasize at 01:54:613 (1,2,3) - and the single drum kick at 01:55:642 (4) - feels more better.
  14. 02:00:099 (1,2,3,4) - this feels too dense, you could remove some notes. As you dont map 01:50:327 -, so you can leave 02:01:299 -, i have rhythm suggestion. *picture
  15. 02:06:098 (2,3) - same as 01:55:299 (3) - .
  16. 02:24:785 (1) - ctrl+h
  17. 02:27:527 (1,2,3) - avoid anti flow, this still a cup. It doesnt fit for beginner.
  18. 02:31:642 (1,1) - umm, unrankable? Song with BPM>120 should has 1/1 gap between object and spinner in cup and salad difficulty.
A bit too dense, could be more improved over time.

Salad

  1. 00:00:613 (2,1) - Is not it intended to be a jump? The sound has potential to be make jump, but it has less spacing. Spacing should be clear so player wouldnt be confused.
  2. 00:04:899 (1) - It has less 8px compared the others, it seems accidentally moved 1 grid to the right, should be moved back 1 grid to the left for consistent spacing.
  3. 00:05:927 (3,1) - same as 00:00:613 (2,1) -
  4. 00:18:613 (1,2) - ^ These has less spacing and it can be caught without dash.
  5. 00:23:413 (2,3,1) - until 00:44:670 (1) - . I will leave this as i said in cup diff, you should find new timming or do change the rhythm patterning.
  6. 00:54:270 (1,2) - spinner could be applied here too.
  7. 00:59:414 (4,1) - confusing spacing. Increase distance if this intended to be jump, or vise versa.
  8. 01:00:956 (9,1) - ^.
  9. 01:02:327 (3,1) - ^, spacing between each jump should be clear, so players not confused.
    These following notes still can be caught without any dash, easily :
    01:12:099 (1) - , 01:14:842 (1) - , 01:16:213 (1) - , 01:21:699 (1,2,3) - , 01:32:670 (1) - , 01:38:156 (1) - , 01:40:899 (1) - , etc. I got that spacing below 2.6x has less spacing to become a jump. You could check the rest.
  10. 01:28:556 (1) - Kiai mode thing, reason in cup mod.
  11. 01: 28: 556 (1,2,3) - I think, this kind of flow feels bad, moreover this still a salad and there is a jump that make inconvenience for beginners.
  12. 01:34:042 (1,2,3) - ^.
  13. 01:47:071 (2,3,1) - ^, why you dont made something similar like 01:45:013 (1,2,3) - instead x( .
  14. 01:48:956 (4,1,2,3) - You can use my rhythm patterning that i gave in cup mod
  15. 01:56:499 (2) - unsnapped object.
  16. 02:07:470 (2) - ^.
  17. 02:13:127 - missing note.
  18. The rest is copy paste pattern from the beginning, so just recopy it from the place where its come from. (Funny fact, i had just realized it! after this 4 hours modding, i had just realized it now! hh). Also recheck about those confusing jump, because i just did quick scan after mentioning some of it in the firsthalf.
  19. 02:31:642 (1,1) - should have 1/1 gap
Some jump is kinda ambiguous, some antiflow a bit bothered me, but its not entirelly necessary.

Platter

  1. 00:01:384 (3) - move 1 grid to the left for better looking of stream.
  2. 00:02:756 (3,4) - 2 grid to the right, then 00:02:928 (5) - 1 grid to the right ^.
  3. 00:04:127 (3) - same as before.
  4. 00:05:413 (1,2,3,4,5) - also.
  5. 00:14:842 (5,6) - this can be more intense to the song, *picture.
  6. 00:23:413 (2,3,1) - until 00:44:670 (1) - . I will leave this as i said in cup diff, you should find new timming or do change the rhythm patterning.
  7. 00:54:813 (2,1) - This hyper is actually over, its almost from the edge to the edge, should be decreased at least. Regardless of that, this doesnt need to be hyper, although it has potential, a huge jump without a hyper is emphasized the sound enough.
  8. 01:05:927 (5,6,1) - Unrankable? Is this that "Hyper must not be in conjunction with an edge dashes" thing? Tbh, i dont exactly understand with that statement in the Ranking Criteria, i just simply assume it like this kind of thing. CMIIW.
  9. 01:22:385 (3) - move it more far from (2) so the jump is clearly visible.
  10. 01:28:556 (1) - kiai mode thing.
  11. 01:29:242 (4,5) - i just dont understand with this kind of spacing, why is it has different spacing. Is it jump? or no?
  12. 01:43:642 (1,2,3,4) - these has inconsistent spacing compared with the previous one.
  13. 01:51:699 - why dont map this like what you do at 01:57:013 (4) -
  14. 01:53:756 (3,4,5) - i know what happen when you were mapping this, its like kinda out of space, thats why 01:53:756 (3,4) - has unusual spacing. But 01:54:270 (5) - has less spacing from previous note which should has a lil bit more. You can move it to the right and tilt it more to manage the spacing
  15. 01:58:385 (4,1) - add hyper for consistent with 01:52:899 (4,1) -
  16. 02:02:498 (4,1) - OMG, i forgot that this is copy paste rhythm. Ok, make a consider to make it consistent or not, give me your opinions about that thing. Ok i dont want to OOT, we can discuss another things in other places, lets finish this modding first.

Just the spacing bothered me, rest is fine imo.

Rain

  1. 00:06:270 (1) - inconsistent with 00:00:784 (1,2) - . After give it a try, i see that this streams isnt a copy paste'd XD . as example 00:02:841 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - has different pattern with 00:08:327 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - , although it has similar rhythm.
  2. 00:16:727 (3,4) - the jump feels a bit odd, spacing could be increased.
  3. 00:23:413 (2,3,1) - until 00:44:670 (1) - . I will leave this as i said in cup diff, you should find new timming or do change the rhythm patterning.
  4. 00:56:327 (3) - i think ctrl+g and move it abi to left feels more fun to play
  5. 01:12:099 (1,2) - isnt it abit too far? you have 2.0x DS at 01:06:613 (1,2) -
  6. 01:28:556 (1) - kiai thing
  7. 01:51:013 (3,4) - miss placement jump, move 01:51:356 (4) - to x:136
  8. 01:56:499 (3,4) - ^, move 01:56:842 (4) - to x:144

Overdose

  1. 00:04:641 (6,7) - okay, i dont see copy paste thing in the streams, so this should have been mapped mannualy, but why this map has hyper? the rhythm doesnt support to be a hyper
  2. 00:11:627 (11) - im sure the slider end doesnt snapped properly, ask some pro timer for confirmation, looks like at 1/16 or anything.
  3. 00:23:413 (2,3,1) - until 00:44:670 (1) - . I will leave this as i said in cup diff, you should find new timming or do change the rhythm patterning.
  4. 00:45:356 (3,1) - okay this hyper doesnt make any sense, it just overused imo.
  5. 00:47:070 (5,6,7) - also this.
  6. 00:47:413 (1,2) - this is also kind of overused, you dont even do this at this triplet 00:49:470 (5,6,7) - though it has similar rhythm, how come that be exception for a variant purpose.
  7. 01:17:242 (4,5,6) - it suddenly stopped without any movement and its kinda awkward, would be better if you do something like *this. You can rearrage the next notes to keep the hyper.
  8. 01:22:727 (6,7,8) - ^.
  9. 01:32:327 (4,1) - why hyper?
  10. 01:37:813 (4,1) - ^.
  11. 01:40:727 (5,6) - it has 8px from edge screen, object from hyperjump should be minumum 16px from the edge of the screen.
  12. 01:43:299 (5,6) - hhmm.
  13. 01:53:756 (3,4) - after these long distance jumping, this distance feels uncomfortable, it lacks of movement and it has less preparation for a jumps afterward
  14. 01:54:613 (1,2) - this spacing feels very harsh, it is catchable but at least make it more smooth.
  15. Recheck mod for the rest part.
Some part has overused hypers, its like mapped for high SR, no matterwhat it should has high SR so its fulfilled by high distance jump.

Ask me, if there is any mistake i made. Because i did offline mod without any help from lord gtranslate :(

There is only one section of this in the whole song, so you can make this to be a slow relaxing section with 3/1 long sliders (you can add a circle at 1/2s tick if possible, it depend on the rhythm). But only 3/1 long slider is fine imo since this still a cup, you can make variant in higher diffs. - Like I said in PM I will try get a modder like Deif to take a look but as far as I am concerned I find that snapping to lower snap divisor notes would not follow the rhythm correctly and not be timed right as how osu should be all about timing right ?

you can add <world> to the tags. i know that - at least for me - i would probably never type wrld for the song, get frustrated and just go and look up wild platter (or any CtB diff) just to find this song. Also, add <oil> to tags since a lot of people know you by that too

00:00:784 (1) - through numerous testplays (and even looking at the map beforehand) i feel like this should be flipped. Testplays it feels even more awkward than what I originally thought it would be by playing through it. Basically, switching the position of that note with 00:01:470 (2,3) - plays better for me because - for me - the movement back is not what I would expect on a cup how you have it mapped.
00:20:842 (2,3) - move these notes closer to 00:19:985 (1) - for an easier transition.Though you have other spots with similar distances, this is the only spot that made me second guess for a split second. It might just be because vocals are here and I switched to them, but this is the only spot that it happened when I was tesplaying

other than those two, Cup is good to me.

00:00:784 (1) - through numerous testplays (and even looking at the map beforehand) i feel like this should be flipped. Testplays it feels even more awkward than what I originally thought it would be by playing through it. Basically, switching the position of that note with 00:01:470 (2,3) - plays better for me because - for me - the movement back is not what I would expect on a cup how you have it mapped. - I think I already fixed this in previous mods or in my own time
00:20:842 (2,3) - move these notes closer to 00:19:985 (1) - for an easier transition.Though you have other spots with similar distances, this is the only spot that made me second guess for a split second. It might just be because vocals are here and I switched to them, but this is the only spot that it happened when I was tesplaying - This is fine because distance snap was on all the time. So every distance should be right.

other than those two, Cup is good to me.

yeah but it will work fine if u apply the resnap to all green lines at once in timing setup as i described :D

  6. 01:50:499 - Then in this last kiai part you have absolutely no 1/4 hypers or any double hypers like the previous kiais had... This is like the finale and should be the top point in the map

I think it's okay but the next section is more upbeat with the vocal slices so it upbeats the diff a bit. I did however fix 01:13:985 (2,3) - which I noticed after reading this as I didn't add a hyper here but I did before.
  5. 01:49:471 (2,3) - this can also be a hyper - Alright yeah since I did with Overdose. Fixed
  6. 01:50:499 - Then in this last kiai part you have absolutely no 1/4 hypers or any double hypers like the previous kiais had... 00:00:099 (1,2,1) - These kind of patterns are really hard for beginners because they tends to press dash even where only a slight move is enough. I would place the first (1) to the other side of (2)
00:41:242 (2,3) - The low distance between these are causing a weird pause in the flow which I think it should not be there. Might try to increase it a little bit.
01:25:128 (4,5) - Why this isn't a repeat slider? It has a kick in the middle plus that weird standstill in the movement kinda bugs me.
01:28:214 (4) - This actually could be a single circle so you can increase the distance at the start of the next kiai to have better emphasis.
01:41:585 (2,3,1,2,3,1,1,2,3,1,2,3) - You had a very nice left-right movement theme in this kiai up until this point which broke when you decided to change your patterns slightly. It would actually be nice to keep using the same movement up to the kiai's end.

My only real gripe with this diff is the density. Patterns flow fine and spacing is good throughout, but at this BPM, with no breaks, it's really unfair to use such long unbroken 1/2 chains and expect new players to keep concentration, since missing can chunk your HP in a significant way even at low HP

Basically same problem the Salad has before, the Platter has now - idk if you fixed all the spacings with my last mod or just the ones I pointed out, but 1.95x is actually a somewhat walkable distance here, and you use it throughout for dashes. This is confusing to the player when they miss something that's visually similar to all other spacings because you put a direction change or whatever, so wherever you use dashes, please buff the spacing to around 2.2-2.4x for more clarity

  1. 00:50:842 (3,1) - Annoyingly low distance, very easy to overshoot here, could easily take (1) to x-248 or so for more flow
  2. 00:53:285 (2) - I mentioned this in Overdose but you said it was a "nice calm vocal", don't really see how that pans out since it totally stands out from everything else around it. At the very least you should add more of a dash to this if you don't want to split into two sliders
  3. 00:54:271 (1,2) - Easy to overshoot due to small spacing based on previous slider's momentum, Make (2) more curved and move the head further right for better flow
  4. 01:56:499 (3,4,5) - Shouldn't the hyper be to (5) for the synth and snare sound? As it is (4.5) is very low and easy to overshoot
  5. 02:05:585 (1,2) - Slightly stronger dash than I was expecting based on previous patterns, mind reducing this one a little?

Basically same problem the Salad has before, the Platter has now - idk if you fixed all the spacings with my last mod or just the ones I pointed out, but 1.95x is actually a somewhat walkable distance here, and you use it throughout for dashes. This is confusing to the player when they miss something that's visually similar to all other spacings because you put a direction change or whatever, so wherever you use dashes, please buff the spacing to around 2.2-2.4x for more clarity - Alright yeah.   1. 00:52:899 (1,2) - Reiterating, again, the distance here is too low. Even if you don't want to split this up into two sliders, please at least try (2) at x-256 and tell me the flow isn't better - Moved to x:256
  2. 01:27:356 (3,4,5) - Really unexpected to have a slow walk here after the previous pattern, simple fix would be to put (4) on the right side of (5), adding a hyper for the vocal that maintains the intensity into the next kiai. Another direction change would be perfect here, but I don't think you could fit one in at this BPM without redoing a bunch of other patterns, so I won't go that far - Yup done

00:31:342 (2) - Using a silent slidertick hitsound is something to consider, since they're an ignored beat here.
Combo colours 3,4 should be swapped so they aren't next to each other, having two similar colours next to each other can cause reading issues.

00:09:699 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - + 02:27:871 (5) - Not sure what's really changed in the music to justify large stream jumps here, I'd suggest removing the jump betwee 6,7 since there's almost nothing to emphasise compared to the other jumps, which all have drums
00:22:728 (1,2) - Increasing distance so this is a dash could work, since vocal is a bit higher pitched. + 00:28:214 (1,2) - also has a dash

Hi! I'm a bit dubious about the snaps of the synth vocals.

  1. On the 00:23:928 (3,1) - pair , the treatment on how to snap them is inconsistent (i.e. one is snapped when the vocal actually starts/ends and some the other is napped to where the accent is). The first of them should be placed in the previous 1/8 tick if both were to be mapped when the vocal actually starts - conversely, 00:24:228 (1) - should start on the red tick if you followed the accent.
  2. 00:26:156 (2) - Should end on the white tick IMO.
  3. 00:31:342 (2) - This should end on the following 1/8 tick
  4. 00:31:985 (3) - If it's following the vocals, this should be on the following yellow tick.
  5. 00:35:199 (2) - This should be 1/8 later IMO.
  6. 00:37:985 (1) - This should end 1/8 later.
  7. 00:39:871 (2) - This should end on the white tick.
  8. 00:41:585 (3) - This should be snapped on the following white tick.
  9. 00:42:656 (2) - This should end on the following 1/8 tick.
  10. 00:43:171 (1) - This should also end on the following 1/8 tick.
Note: I checked these on the Rain diff, but should also apply to other diffs if the same sounds are mapped.

Gonna poke the other BNs and QATs to promote a discussion on these.

I think moving 00:24:228 (1) to 00:24:271 (1) makes following the vocals late and makes the accent sound off, but 00:23:928 (3) should be moved to 00:23:885, the 1/8 tick before.

We've been discussing through the mentioned snaps on Rain/Overdose, and they'd need further adjustments as stated by ZiRoX and AZ. However, since the vocals are rather iffy and include some kind of reverb, it'd be recommendable to find a compromise with the voiced opinions and also look for more people to doublecheck them.

(3) sounded off but I think (1) was fine.

  6. 00:37:985 (1) - This should end 1/8 later. - I disagree with both here. Although IMO the start could be another 1/12 later again to me. The end of the slider really hits the vocal that sounds like "Chew" in 25% playback rate
  7. 00:39:871 (2) - This should end on the white tick. - I don't know about this honestly. in a way it could simplify it but to me it sounds less on time. I thought it was pretty accurate as it was honestly.
  8. 00:41:585 (3) - This should be snapped on the following white tick. - Sorry but I disagree again :(. I think this is perfect
  9. 00:42:656 (2) - This should end on the following 1/8 tick. - In a way I agree with both of you... 1/8 sounds good but also as it is on the white tick sounds good also.. Maybe could get some more people to listen to this one. I think I might just slightly agree more with ZiRoX here but just want to make sure what others think first. It would make also a perfect 1/1 slider doing changing this also if I go with ZiRoX

Okay some additional changes which was IRC'ed with Sorcerer

00:35:199 (2) - is now on the next 1/12 as AZ and Sorcerer agree that the sound is better here than on the 1/8's. It's now on 00:35:214 -

00:42:656 (2) - As said in previous post I was leaning more towards ZiRoX with this idea and now I have confirmed it with the help of Sorcerer that this is the better way to go from our opinions.

I think the rest might be alright but I will double check with another person first. Or ask ZiRoX to recheck times.
