I was hoping to do a Love Live solo compilation but I'm not sure how to mix it, I want the songs to go smoothly together and fade into the next song. I've heard people using FL Studio and I was able to put one song in with my mp3 files, but I can't scroll sideways to see the length of the song or get certain parts, when I've tried to cut it using the tools or trying to shorten it. It either keeps going on or I can't cut out the parts I want because I can't see the full length of the song. If anyone has any easy to use and free mixers that can fade into the next song easily, it would be really appreciated.
Thank you! :)

I just use Audacity.

Works fine for any simple cutting, merging, "Compiling" as long as you don't need to create your own beatshifts, or more complex transitions with some kind of original composition.

Yeah I already have the mp3 files that I need.
Audacity is free and generally straight forward right?

Yes, Audacity is free. You may need a bit of experience and playing around with it to master. Or have used any previous audio editing software, or have general knowhow.
