They're cool when making visual effects, but they can be really difficult to read when they average something besides 1x as you're essentially making the player read a speedup/slowjam depending on how they add up. The way to actually find the values that make them average 1x is by taking the starting SV value (whichever random number you wanna start with) and multiplying it by the number of units (units here are just how many snaps occur, like this part for example, uses 3/4 spaces), and subtracting that number from your total number of units. So for these 3/4 SVs to work, you'd have to make 00:55:493 - 00:55:727 - 1.6x since 3 - (0.7 x 2) = 1.6x
01:03:939 (63939|2) - Why not make this a 1/3 LN to connect to 01:04:043 - since the sounds are still the same fluid synth as before. Breaks the consistency a bit to just make this note single and the rest LNs

as requested, hitsound volume crusade pending edition

you're using soft sampleset for a rather energetic song, hence the hitnormals are not audible, just change the sampleset to normal and see the diffrence

there's also some severe lack of sample placements, for example from 00:05:627 - onwards you could put whistles on the main beat and just layer those whistles for the same beat

pattern suggestions since it didn't feel completely how it should be imo

00:19:928 - I think to make that it would be more fitting and way more interesting for this sort of trilly sound to have actual trills here, here's my suggestion:


00:42:000 - to avoid a pretty unnatural shield on 2nd column I suggest doing this, which still follows the pitch and flows a bit better:


01:00:446 - Missed a note here, not jacked with the next note since doesn't fit but it should be there, you could for example reverse columns of 01:00:187 (60187|3,60342|2) - and then put the 1/3 on 3rd column

01:09:669 - I see your intention here on making the hard hits more emphasized with SV and chords but are you 100% sure you want to completely ignore the synth burst you have here? It would be interesting imo (ofc without SV)

01:15:653 - a bunch of missed 1/4s in this section, featuring the highlighted timestamp, it's not good to miss them consistency wise imo
