Mod Mod :P im not the best mapper but here are a few things.
Sweet caffe
00:00:881 (2,3,4) - the 2 and 4 could be stacked or separated but that is preference

00:06:381 (2,3) - so these are stacked and the bottom one inst a new combo while the rest of the time if its stacked the bottom not is a new combo

00:41:714 (4,5,1,2) - hiding the 2 makes hard to read but that is up to you :P

Side note: I like the map its fun and mapped really well :D

Insane
00:42:881 (5,6,7) - these are a little of in terms of distance snapping

00:54:714 (4,5,1) - the 4 covers up the 1 a little it i would start the 4 where the 1 ends just to make it flow a little easier and easier to read

01:01:714 (4,1,2) - Move the 2 out of the way of the 4 :P

side note: I also really like this map. some of the strait sliders seem out of place but they are fine where they are. Not much to say besides nice map

Woah incredible map, really like it. It's sad the song is short :(
And the difficulty spread... :( Easy and Normal & Insane and Bitter Caffe are too close :P
On the other hand, I use to mod timing and/or design/aesthetics, but your maps are pretty clean! :D so not much more to mod for me.

Easy

I think that this map is a bit difficult to consider it a Easy, isn't it? Difficult to read for them, even with low AR
Some mapping techniques you use in it are pretty common in normals
  1. 00:29:214 (4,5) - In easy, I would recommend to avoid stacks in easy maps, just for the sake of new players not to die :P

Its a really good map! I like your sliders! Those were just recommendations to make the map easier, to make it an "Easy". If you like it as dificult as it is now, ignore me :P
BTW it is a quite long song! if you are going to map more, you'll have to "cut" it.

And its pretty damn fast! lol Thanks for your feedback! I guess this map can come across as being bit repetitive. I hope this will be solved with more experience on my part. For now, I am not planning to overhaul the map dramatically though.

  2. 00:19:048 - 00:24:381 - In my opinion those beats should be covered by adding a circle, it just feels too empty at the moment.
  3. 00:40:381 - 00:41:548 - ^ here we have another problem, having them empty will help for readability problems, so I strongly recommend you to add circles here
  4. 00:45:214 - This gap can be a bit confusing for the easiest difficulty of the mapset, so what about using a slider just like 00:46:048 (1) - . Example: http://puu.sh/lVEXp/b258702f89.jpg
  5. 00:53:714 (1,2) - Control G here will help following the rhythm better, making the downbeat clickable.
  6. 01:02:048 (1,2,3,4) - So many downbeats unclickable, I strongly advise you to revise this section making beats like 01:02:548 - 01:04:048 - clickable in order to improve the gamplay.
  7. 01:27:381 (1) - Spinner should finish here 01:32:631 - .

  4. 00:56:714 - Looks like you ignored vocals at the kiai, but I don't think this is a good choise to make, if you listen carefully some beats go among with the vocals and following them would make the gameplay much better as both vocals and drums are being covered at the same time.   1. 00:09:214 - Won't you give emphasis to this 00:09:214 (3) - ? I know that you're emphasizing the downbeats but I think that this beat also deserves some emphasis, a small jump perhaps?
  2. 00:10:881 (4) - This part would play better if it was two circles because both slider's head and tail are strong enough for that, moreover you could remove this circle 00:11:214 (5) - because the song doesn't provide any sound here to justify this circle. I'm not saying it's a problem, but if you use two circles as I suggested, a small gap would be a good way of making player's hands relax a bit before the next step of the song.
  3. 00:12:548 (1) - The way this slider is pointing to the right makes the pattern a bit awfull concerning astheticals, what about a blanket here?
  4. 00:11:381 (1,2) - I assume that this was supposed to be a perfect stack.
  5. 00:14:048 (1) - I wouldn't recommend keeping this reverse arrow, you're losing an important beat here 00:14:548 - that's definetly important for you since you covered this beat with the previous patterns.

I am not ignoring vocals completely, and the palces I ignored, I did it because when I tired to follow every vocals, I had trouble with 1) consistent hitsounding, 2) keeping notes neat, and 3) keeping it playable. A better mapper than me (like you) may be able to do a better job while following all the vocals, but this is the best solution I've found after a few remapping. And I'm satisfied with it :D

  1. I think slidertick and clap sounds for custom3 are very confusing. Because they're the same yet the clap can be clickable but slidertick can't.
  2. 00:56:714 (1,2) - I think the flow here should be improved. I mean you could move 00:56:714 (1) down a little bit but it might have DS problem so yeah.
[Advanced]

  1. 00:29:720 (6,1) - The flow here feels a bit weird though.

Same exact thing with this diff... 00:06:054 (1,2,3) - you are following the correct rhythm which is just white ticks here, which is 1/4th but then you switch it up and map to the red ticks 00:07:554 (4,5,6) - sure it follows the song, but a newer player wont be able to read that kind of rhythmic change, it would be best to keep everything really super simple, especially in a 1.7 star map!

I feel like what you're suggesting is to ignore the song and create my own rhythm :/ . For normal, this is more valid concern. I'm bit afraid that this will be confusing for new players, but This is the best compromise between increasing playability and following the music well. Also, the overall rhythm may look complicated, but clicking rhythm is very simple. Nearly all beats are 1/1 or 2/1 apart, no 3/2 kind of stuff. So I don't to bring any major changes to these diffs for now.

Apparently AI mod says that Kiai mode can't be less than 15 seconds! Not sure if that's an issue or not, considering how short of a map it is.

When I was mapping easy (or normal without an easy diff in the mapset), I got complaints about using 3/2 so many times that I decided to avoid using it completely. Now I guess it's more like an opinion. I will be more open to using 3/2 gaps where I think is fitting, but I prefer not to change all 1/2 sliders to circles because: 1) hitsound/rhythm consistency 2) that will introduce around a dozen 3/2 gaps, which I think is too many 3) I don't think short slider is big enough of a problem to risk introducing other problems

I want to avoid using 3/2 beats for the easiest difficulty of the map set. I agree your solution seem to follow the music better, but for difficulty issues, I am already ignoring a lot of beats in the music anyways. I prefer to keep it as I've done it.

00:15:078 (4,5,6) - make these into circles that are on the red ticks, well it's normal so having so many gaps would be confusing for some players. This part shows a lot of gaps so it should be changed with the ones with the red ticks imo..

uhh, imo you should lower your od a bit because the song's patterns are sort of confusing so ye, I would also follow the song's pattern (if I could that is)

00:48:744 (1,2,3) - make (1) returning and take (2) out and make (3) move backwards towards the red tick.

Insane :

00:10:911 (4,5) - remove (4) and replace it with the slider.
00:16:244 (4,5) - make this into a slider that starts on (4) and ends on the next red tick.

Extra:

Uh, it's optional for you to change your hp to 6.2 or lower, since if it's that high it's nearly like the boss already

Nekos:

00:16:244 (4,5) - change this into long slider (replace 4 as the start of the slider and end on the end of 5).
