The Bugatti has finally been de-throned. I didn't expect the Chinese to actually cook. Must feel exhilarating to ride that thing.

yeah I agree, it's such an annoying mechanic, I get why they exist but most people just play in pokemon showdown and edit them to be perfect

EV and IV training was made significantly easier in scarlet and violet thankfully.

I used to dabble in vgc but was never good. But might try showdown again soon idk

is there a practical use for this?

A little tilt to the steering wheel might send the car flying though...

A good (un-practical) use is adding this to forza horizon. Forza is the equivalent to fortnite adding whatever IP they find.

But genuinely how would a person use this besides some remote path

yes yes, big tech from china will be revolutionary, I think I've heard this story all my life.

bugatti has been struggling for some time now, they probably will stick with the luxury car thing and call it a day

anyway, "new fastest car world record" is making me fume, so I'll just post this here:

if you meant road legal car, the jesko absolut got the fastest 0-400-0 and is supposed to go 500km/h+ (they didnt test it out yet), and can you believe this, you can do that multiple times without the risk of catching on fire with the (totally reliable) lithium ion battery.

setting records push tech and forces competition to make better shit, its not healthy to shun it

if you NEED to get technical and find a use to it, if the car can go to 500km/h max, it probably CHILLS at 100km/h, giving a more comfortable driving feeling, also knowing that you can overtake someone in an instant is a blessing, its horrible when your car struggles to do basic overtaking and there is a whole truck coming the other way.

its also just fun. going fast is fun. not everything needs to have a use and make sense, we're humans, if it makes you giggle and maybe change your day just a bit to be less boring or sad, its already worth it.

Not always. We have a lot of BYDs driving in here and from what I've heard, they say the car they had would've been better cuz this needs more maintenance. The ripoffs are funny too.

Rolls Royce? nah we got Geely GE.
Porche? nah Eagle Carrie is better.
Land Wind X7 bootleg of land rover. (Love the name, very straightforward)

Well...

An article wrote:

Power comes from a four-motor setup using BYD’s Yi Sifang system, operating on a 1,200V silicon carbide-based platform. Each motor delivers 555 kW, combining for 2,220 kW (close to 3000 hp). The system provides a power-to-weight ratio of 1,217 ps per ton. Torque vectoring adjustments occur over 100 times per second, distributing power independently to each wheel.
That's like 5 times what the tesla model 3 consumes...

Yeah but it's not like your going top speed all the time. You'd probably use 1/4th of the speed on the road so the motors won't consume as much power as it would at high speed. Also it charges super fast apparently so ig that balances out.

Not really, the power you need increases exponentially with the speed. I'm not sure you can hold 1 hours at 465 km/h (if the tyres don't give up before)
