Hello, OTers (or whatever yall decide to call it)

first of all im sorry if i put this in the wrong subforum, i genuinely dont know where to put this thread because this is not related to osu! at all, but regardless of that i do need some help with this (feel free if mods wanna move this thread^^,)

To give yall some context, i've bought a pair of headphones earlier this year (iirc this year's summer). The model is SONY WH-CH 720N and ever since i've bought them it has problems connecting to my laptop (Huawei Windows 11). This is kind of weird because these headphones work fine on my mom's laptop (HP) which is also on windows 11. These headphones can be paired with up to 8 devices, which mine's paired with:

My mom's laptop (HP Windows 11)
My old phone (POCO F3)
My new phone (iPhone 13)
One (or two) of my friend's phone (andriod, idk their brand)

My headphones work perfectly fine with the devices listed above.

Question: Any solutions for this problem?

A few notes:
*Via bluetooth, the quality using a usb is just shitty so i dont wanna use it lol
*There are no available drivers for this device on PC
*The device can be found when pairing, it just wouldn't connect properly
*My pc is up to date

Thx :3

What laptop exactly? Having only the trademark and the OS won't help...

(also General discussion if you want serious answers?)

maybe theres like a "system information" or "about computer" type of thing in the settings or windows menus? they usually list the exact model and hardware... but maybe its different on win11? i have win7 and its easy for me but it may not be intuitive there im not sure

although it doesnt actually answer any of your questions im sorry ;-; i hope the store can help somehow

idk if its like a "windows server" thing (this was a problem with a windows 7 laptop my dad had except its not that the device doesnt connect but like, the laptop itself cant discover any bluetooth devices at all or smth bc the bluetooth headphones he tried using couldnt be found fsr when trying to pair it), and idk if its like a situation where you need to look for a "device manager" or "service manager" window to find bluetooth services and properties in the windows search bar thing-- you said there were no drivers for those headphones so maybe trying to mess with settings there might not mean anything either, hmmn

good luck tho!! that sounds annoying :'/

thx!! kinda worked a bit with the cable so the quality's way better than when i first used the cable, tho it's quite annoying to have a cable around you knowing you can just connect it with bluetooth :<
