The spoiler tag is very useful if you want to hide sensitive content, but what if we do the opposite by revealing what's behind? With this tag combination, it is now possible. You assign the color of your choice to the text, then add the spoiler to create an interesting effect.

And if you want to go even further, you can add the size tag to highlight the text even more.

[spoiler][color=turquoise]EXAMPLE[/color][/spoiler]
[size=200][spoiler][color=turquoise]EXAMPLE[/color][/spoiler][/size]

Talking about the size tag, the maximum value you can add on it is 200, but it's still possible to make your text even larger while keeping the white color of the text. You simply have to add the color before and add the heading after the size.

This order is very important otherwise the BBCode may not work.

[heading][size=200][color=white]EXAMPLE[/color][/size][/heading]

No one really uses the underline BBCode in the forum, but what if we used it to make a long line that crosses the entire post? To make it happen, I personally copy pasted invisible characters in the commands until it fits perfectly on desktop, then add the center tag to make it aesthetic.

Another crazy tag combination that no one will use would be the image/audio inside the boxes. When you click on the illustration or play button, the audio will start while the elements inside the box will be shown, which can be funny in certain situations if used properly!

[box=[audio]https://example.com/audio.mp3[/audio]]EXAMPLE[/box]

If you read the BBCode wiki, you're probably aware that there's an inline code, which puts a grey box around the text targeted. You can also use it to write your username in a in a cool way, with the ability to change its size or put it in italic.

[c][profile]Username[/profile][/c]
[size=150][c][i][profile]Username[/profile][/i][/c][/size]

I AM VERY SMART

Maybe I should make a thread like this, but expert version.

For example, in my signature I have my name backwards, but it still redirects to my profile, although it has nothing to do with BBCode directly

I'm too lazy to think about more things now.

You're an expert when it comes to search for gamebreaking BBCode here so why not! I'm only here to show cool things we can do with these tools :>

Peppy is sane. The cost (both literal and figurative) of migrating a forum that barely 0.1% of the active osu! community uses and is not THAT broken is not worth it imo.

migrating overall is a unnecessary headache in most cases, usually comes from the CEO wanting to follow market tendencies of a newer unreliable tech/language.

They already do: https://discord.com/invite/ppy

But in Discord you can't write text in color, and you can't do the crazy stuff shown in OP

Restricted to 8 colors like in my Linux terminal, you can't really make gradients with this

BBCode is actually very fun to use. I used it while making my me! section. I also used it in some of my OT threads (Used more in the me! Section and less in the threads section.)
