if you want the smoothest motion cursor, use an interpolating plugin and set the Hz to a multiple of your monitor hz.
i don't mean delay/smoothing, i mean smooth motion. you can make it feel pretty (more than without) responsive, too, but idk what to recommend. i just play around with my own plugin.
