Try it, and see how it looks. Eh, I'm not a fan of AR10 maps. I know this map is pretty difficult to read (it's kind of my mapping style now x_x), but I would like to keep it non-AR10. I will change it if more people complain about it though.

00:08:862 (3) - Move to 208:340 to make a perfecto triangle I was actually aiming for a really long diamond shape, but the perfect triangle looks nicer. Also arranged other notes around it so it'll keep the pattern.

I don't think these two notes are that much of a problem because they're from a reverse slider. The slider leniency and the fact that they're short and quickly returning to their original spot makes it pretty easy for beginners to hit imo. I don't think it's worth fixing it, breaking the pattern

I intended this map to be on the slightly difficult side because I added the Beginner difficulty. I also wanted to make the gap between the Easy and Hard lower since I think the Hard diff is pretty hard for its difficulty too. I think most of these DS problems in here are minor enough to be ignored considering its intended difficulty.

Fix all the DS errors, there shouldn't be any (maybe 1 or 2 exceptions if it's not that bad and it's done on purpose) Went through all the spacing errors detected by AIMod, most of them were there even though it was constant 1x spacing. I fixed all of them that actually had inconsistent spacings and manually went through and fixed some other spacings I found. I hope that's all of them.

Hmm, CS5 HDHRDT on Normal feels weird, I sometimes plays Normal for fun that way.

But like you said, I should have my difficulty according to my mapset so..
I think I'll go with CS+1 and OD+1. I lowered OD to kind of make the 1/2s easier to hit for new players, but that extra difficulty should be enough to make it closer to the Hard side, I hope.

Very clean beginner!
  1. 00:18:695 (1,2,1) - Here, you can use the two slider bodies to blanket (2)!
  2. 00:24:029 (1) - Move the second to last slider point to 336:232 so that it blankets 00:26:029 (2) - better
  3. 00:37:362 (1) - This slider goes up pretty high, in fact its touching my life meter! It will be best to move this down
  4. 00:41:362 (2,1,2) - Kind of awkward flow. That curve from the starting slider goes downwards in to (1), and then straight linear flow up to (2)! I would try and put a bit of a curve between (1) and (2) so that it will play better.
  5. 00:51:195 (1,1) - Two spinners in a row in a beginner difficulty is definitely a no no. Especially since the second spinner is a bit faster than the first. Newer players need to take time to realize what is going on, then to start spinning. Afterwards they will be exhausted. I suggest removing the first spinner and mapping it out. There is a clear rhythm that you can follow in order to map it!
  6. 00:59:193 (1,2) - You can move these down so that (2)'s slider end can stack with 00:58:527 (3) - 's hitburst
    01:01:860 (1,2) - Blanket can be improved
  7. 01:04:526 (1,2) - Blanket can be improved
  8. 01:05:860 (2) - Wouldn't it be best if this was stacked with 01:03:193 (2) - 's hitburst? You can move the slider before it over so that it can fit
  9. 01:23:860 (1) - You had a nice triangle fan shape pattern with the previous objects, so why have this random slider like this? Try and arrange it so it doesn't appear so awkwardly.

Just needs some cleaning up, the blankets need some work though, so be sure to check through all of them with the approach circles of the objects that are being blanketed!

  2. 00:14:695 (2) - The slider end here doesn't really land on anything and in turn, it sounds really loud! I would use a green line to lower the volume of the hitsound or have the slider end here 00:15:029 -

  4. 00:22:695 (3,4) - Blanket can be improved

  13. 01:23:860 (1,3) - Avoid the overlap with the hitburst. Try having (3)'s slider end stack with (1)'s hitburst

Play wise, there is nothing too wrong here, but overall it seems very messy and cluttered
  • 00:25:529 (4,5) - Check the spacing between these two, they are kind of far :x
  1. 00:25:029 (3,4) - Having (4) jammed up at this corner makes things hard to read and cluttered
  2. 00:42:195 (5) - 395:234 so that it is stacked perfectly underneath 00:40:862 (3) - 's hitburst
  3. 00:46:529 (3,4) - Blanket can be improved
  4. 01:02:360 (2,4) - Try to avoid this overlap
  5. 01:03:026 (3,4,5,6) - Linear flow like this is boring and unintuitive, and is actually harder to play and read! Try curving the objects in to the direction you want the players to go
  6. 01:13:026 (2) - Have this blanket 01:13:693 (3) - for a crisper and prettier pattern
  7. 01:19:026 (3,1) - I would avoid the small overlap

Looks and plays good for me, although in some cases some passive sliders do not fit well with the rhythm like these two 01:00:360 (5,7) -

Complex


Pretty sure /Complex/ is an unrankable diff name, rename to Insane. The main issue here is 3/4 sliders when they should instead be 1/2. If you listen closely, they aren't needed to be 3/4 and turns the play awkward. Lots of 100 sliders will happen. Last issue I have a gripe about is the 1/4 spacing in areas. Its best to keep most 1/4 spacing as consistent as possible, or else it will be hard to read. Make sure to check through the difficulty for such things!
  1. 00:09:862 (7,1) - The forced blanket here can be improved
  2. 00:11:195 (2,3) - Blanket can be improved
  3. 00:20:029 (1,2) - The 1/4 distance here is quite far, and to be honest, shouldn't be 1/4 at all! 00:20:029 (1) - should end at 00:20:195 -
  4. 00:20:695 (3,4) - Same thing here, (3) should not be a 3/4 slider
  5. 00:21:362 (1,2) - and here as well
  6. 00:24:029 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Cool pattern, but again the 3/4 sliders should actually be 1/2s
  7. 00:27:195 (3,4) - 1/4 distance is again huge, but if you turn (3) to 1/2 slider it will be fine
  8. 00:27:695 (5,6) - Same 3/4 issue. (5) should become 1/2 slider
  9. 00:29:362 (1,2) - (1) should be a 1/2 slider
  10. 00:30:529 (5,6) - 1/4 distance is huge, but then again (5) should be 1/2 slider
  11. 00:30:862 (6,9) - This is very hard to read and flow is kind of awkward.
  12. 00:39:029 (2) - 96:239 so that its slider end is stacked underneath 00:38:362 (3) - 's hitburst

hmmm I think those kinds of sliders are alright since they fit well with the vocal, there are a lot of accents on the upbeats. thanks for checking tho!

also the 3/4 flow in complex is what makes it so cool, it's a different style of mapping, doesn't mean it's an issue

aren't we not allowed to have vocaloid names in the title for copyright reasons with crypton? :/ imo this is the weird gray area that hasn't been addressed

They aren't allowed to be used under Artist, she is listed under the song title however.

That's the actual title of the track, in any case. Nothing is going to happen, and there is no gray area.

ah alright, because maps like this https://osu.ppy.sh/s/72812 are in the same boat where the original title had feat. Hatsune Miku but was ranked without it, guess that's why it was confusing

The soundtrack I got for the game Seventh Dragon 2020 actually had feat. Hatsune Miku on the artist, so I'm not really sure which one is right..

I will add Genjitsu Aesop to tag though.
