here are my thoughts on who should win
(regarding the first post that was made, not replies)

Jun's thread is really simple. it's just going over an overused joke about how osu! players don't shower. that thread literally had me going 😐
the replies though were funny though

Jarcrafted's thread was interesting. It had a story about how the smoking caterpillar was going through a hard time. the tldrs are pretty funny. the first one made me chuckle. i actually sort of enjoyed reading about what the smoking caterpillar had to say. while it didn't give me anything more than a chuckle, i did enjoy reading it.

tldr: Jun's thread = boring, Jarcrafted thread = OK therefore Jarcrafted beats Jun

Congrats Jun Maeda for creating the Shitpost of the Month!

After a close battle, it seems people ultimately preferred the simplicity and dagger-like effectivity of Jun's Please compared to Jarcrafted's epic Smoking Caterpillar Sadness Arc. However, it seems that overall the consensus was extremely close, with only one vote needed to send this battle into sudden death. On another day, the vote may have swung the other way.

Let's also not forget that 8 other threads nominated, all masterclasses of shitposting in their own right.
