argon is generated with code so it's really difficult to edit anything about it, but try exporting it as an .osk file, renaming the .osk file to a .zip file, and extracting it. once you're done, edit away then just reverse to process to get an .osk file, then import it back to lazer.

The button to export default skins don't work. I've tried exporting a modified version of the default skin, but it only contains the skin.ini and two json files. I'll just wait until lazer allows it, or someone manages to extract it.
That's all there is supposed to be: argon uses code to generate the hitcircles, so you won't get any image files by exporting a skin. Some of the assets are available at ppy/osu-resources, but these are built into the game and I don't think they can be changed (without editing the code).Twisted_Chimera wrote:

If you don't care about profile stats and really want to change the combo colours, you can follow these developing osu! instructions and edit the relevant code here
