yeah i decided to go for a z390. i can't remember why, but it probably has something to do with m.2 slots or cable management or something aesthetic.
case:
i like my compact colors. spec-omega has the compact, and the colors. AND icue stuff, so i can edit the fancy rainbow colors. purdy.
graphics card:
the 2060s is the only "budget" thing on my list. i don't want to bust my non-existent wallet for an already over-the-top 3080. even though the RTX series isn't exactly budget.
cpu:
ok yeah so i refuse to run on an i5. or i7. that's about it. :^(
RAM:
my current (school) laptop only has 8gb of ram. that's half of the minimum market (cough cough amazon/ebay/walmart/bestbuy) size. i don't think 32gb of ram is going to hurt.
memory:
ok so i only have 117gb of total space on my laptop. am i going over the top with 2tb of internal memory? maybe. am i psychotic to be going for 16tb of HDD? perhaps. but i refuse to have only 117gb of space on a pc.
power supply:
ok so i might be draining a bit too much for this pc, especially at 750 watts. but it's better than having to sit on a bed plugged into a laptop charger that can't even charge.
air fan... stuff:
what? i had to get something. and i'm not risking almost $2k of a setup for water cooling. hell no.

i watched one of tokaku/jolene's vids on keyboard polling rates and chord input and i realized that my current laptop keyboard doesn't even respond until after 90+ms. that's a firetruck ton of time that i just don't have, especially when it comes to osu!.
mouse/trackpad:
i went with the charging mousepad because 1) - it looks cool and 2) - it actually serves a purpose; charging a high dpi cordless mouse!
and i also went with a trackpad because i'm more accustomed to trackpads suck it tablet gang :sunglasses:

COVID-19 definitely screwed their initial plan when I heard, and the september release didn't happen because they polished the game up some more, and then the november release wasn't gunna happen because they needed to test on a dozen different platforms.Winnyace wrote:
