yep, my 2nd ONE OK ROCK mapset, The Beginning, of course with a different MAD too
this time, i'll use the theme of Fate/Zero for this song, oh god, yeah! that Fate/Zero!
It's a bit hard to find it before, because there's no such video from youtube back then and i found this one from the nicovid
but well, it so much worth so i'm not really care about it
even the song title is very matched with one of the actual theme song from FZ itself, to the beginning by kalafina, just minus "to" this time lol
just consider that this map is "the beginning" part after out journey "to the beginning" XD

ps:
- FAVORITE THIS BECAUSE OF TOMOYA'S DRUMPLAY lol

Can I complement a diff between Normal and Hard ?
since Normal is about 2mil and Hard is about 9mil, and something between them in difficulty is pretty mappable
~77%(100% mapping-10% hitsounds) 4/01/2013
Can I use slidertick 2 and the other hitsound set? (the music does have a costant 1/2 backing)

This is not problem for Rank but, I think, it had better unify Kiai Mode with other diff.
  1. 00:50:309 (1,2,3) - this curve is not beautiful. I suggest this=00:51:958 (2) move x=340,Y=72.(this keep distance)
  2. 02:45:035 ~ you use Normal whistle in this part, but This is not match for this song. I suggest you unify other diff.
  3. 03:02:178 (5) - this is hidden by 03:00:200 (2). so this may be too difficult for easy map.
This diff use little hard rhythm, but I can't find matters more.

  1. 01:55:914 (3,4) - I think this rhythm confuse beginner player, different rhythm from other part such as this=00:36:463 (3,4). I think, using slider is the best!
  2. 02:43:057 (3,4) - this is same contents as previous opinion.
[Hard]
  1. 00:02:837 ~ The first part of this song is quiet, but there are many notes. I think this is loud and not so match for this part.
  2. 00:55:090 (9) - I want one more return because this is more correctly for this sound, but this is not so big matter.
  3. 01:06:134 (8,1) - change NC please. because voice start here=01:06:134
  4. 01:08:771 (7,1) - this is same contents as previous opinion.

  1. 03:07:947 - Maybe consider ending the last spinner here instead for all the diffs just like in Haku's diff. I think it's a better place to end it because the vocals stop at that point.

  2. 80% volume is much too loud for the soft section until 00:23:112. 60 or 70% would be much better.
[249's Easy]

Map Design

  1. This diff doesn't have kiai times. Mistake? o.o
    Maybe you forgot to check kiai at 01:16:848 and 02:22:782.

  2. 00:23:276 (4) - How about adding a NC here just like Kuria has done in the normal and hard diffs? I think it might fit this guitar transition a bit better.

  3. 01:14:046 (1) - Hm, maybe bend this slider upwards a bit to setup a nicer flow for the spinner.
Hitsounds

  1. 00:02:837 to 00:23:936 - Consider adding some offbeat whistles just like is done in all the other diffs. This section has no hitsounds atm and is very boring because of it imo.

  2. 01:10:090 (2,3) - Hm, maybe add some claps to the end of these sliders just like you did at 01:07:782 and 01:08:441. That' just a repeated section of music, I'm not sure why the offbeat clapping would stop here.

  3. 00:50:969 - Maybe switch over to NC:1 here so that we could have a clap at 00:51:134 and one at 00:51:463 to hit along with claps the music. Then switch back to N at 00:51:628. Also make the tick at 00:51:298 a normal tick.

  4. 00:52:782 - You could also make this tick a clap to hit with the clap in the music just like in the hard diff. Honestly you could do this all over this section because there are a lot of loud claps that happen on red ticks, like at 00:46:189 or 00:54:430. It would sound really nice imo. Right now it's a bit bland to me because you don't even use whistles like the other diffs use.

  1. 01:49:980 (2) - I believe to follow the music better here, we should have this slider starting at 01:49:815 and ending at 01:50:309. This would make a consistent rhythm with 01:50:969 (1,2) and 01:53:606 (1,2) and would play much better.

  2. 02:26:243 (6) - Maybe add a NC here to be consistent with 01:20:309 (1).
Hitsounds

  1. 00:41:738 (5) - Maybe add a clap on the end of this slider to hit with the one in the music just like you did at 00:31:518 (4).

  2. 00:43:881 (2) - I feel like a clap is missing on the end of this slider to create a nice two clap and finish pattern just like we have in the insane diff.

  3. 01:16:683 - Consider making the normal-slidertick2 a finish sound so that we could have a finish in the middle of this slider to start the kiai time better.

  4. 01:22:947 (3) - Hm, maybe add a clap on the head to keep consistent with your offbeat clapping here.

  5. 02:54:265 (1) - It would also be nice to have a finish in the middle of this slider.

  1. Since you're the only one that maps anything before 00:02:837 you should maybe add a lead-in time because it looks bad right now to see the 00:01:189 (1) appear before draining time even starts. 1 second should be fine, maybe even less.

  2. I'm sorry, I don't want to mod this diff because I don't think Haku is very fond of me and I don't want to get yelled at. It will make me sad face.

Map Design

  1. 01:06:134 (8) - Hm, maybe NC here instead of at 01:06:298 (1) to follow the vocals better as you have been doing and to be consistent with 01:08:771 (1).

  2. 02:16:353 (5,6,7,8) - This would be more readable to me if spacing was 1.2. The jump makes it hard to read the rhythm imo.

  3. 02:21:958 (6) - Again maybe NC here like in the insane diff to make this transition a little more epic.
Hitsounds

  1. 00:36:463 - You're missing out of having a clap on the slider tick here. Consider using slider tick 2 for this diff so that you could have claps on the ticks of these sliders all over the map where they are missing. It will sound much better.
There isn't much wrong here. Some of the gaps in play here can be a little strange, like at 00:26:738 (2,3). A continuous rhythm with the drums would have been better there, but it's not a big deal.

  1. 00:23:276 (3) - Maybe have a NC here like you do in the hard diff. I think it makes this transition much more intense.

  2. 00:47:507 (4,1) - Really awkward rhythm to me. I hear a triplet in the music, and the slider should be on the white tick at 00:47:672. Can you move the 00:47:590 (1) to there and shorten it and add a circle at 00:47:590?

    Fits much better imo. Just like at 00:52:782 (1,2,3) it's the same sound. You could also NC there on the 00:47:507 (4).
    Honestly I really hate 00:46:189 (4,1) also, but I guess that one is sort of following the music.

  3. 02:12:068 (1,2,3,4,5) - Hm, these seem a bit weirdly placed. Maybe try and place them in a star formation.

    I'm terrible at making stars.
Hitsounds

  1. 00:39:430 (5) - Missing clap on the head according to your pattern.

  2. 01:04:485 - Again I think slider tick 2 would be better here so we could have claps on these offbeats in the middle of the slider.

  4. 02:19:650 (2) - again I would end the spinner earlier, either 02:20:309 or 02:20:639, I don't really know which option is better
  5. 02:33:167 - instead of here, there should be a beat at 02:32:507
  6. 02:33:496 (3) - this slider touches the bottom border of my screen which doesn't look nice. You can fix that by turning it into a curved slider:
  7. 02:42:068 (3) - remove
This diff feels really rectangular sometimes, I don't like this. Don't be afraid to put straight sliders more angular.

Maybe try and place them in a star formation. im making it like this instead of neat star to keep the spacing between beats not so awkward, also because of the AR, i think this will be unnoticeable for the player to be guessing that this can form a star/pentagon formation so i dont think this was necessary for now :D

im already tested it by bunch of people and most of them can play this part perfectly just in one try, so i think this kind of beat wouldn't became a big problem :)
