i havent directly searched for this but ive definitely watched videos that focus on sound design in percussion :> so its close enough, although technically imprecise because i think "how to make my drums not sound like shit" is not specific enough for what i need, and i therefore would not search for it that wayPolyspora wrote:

ultimately, the way i might want to design drums will depend heavily on what music i want to make and i very rarely understand what im doing or have any kind of plan (i will never remember or stick to that plan, everything is spontaneous and blurry), so generalized tutorials rarely help me both because its not the music i want to make and because im outright awful at internalizing information in any reliable way
