Perhaps someone has found a way to hax auto-play and/or relax for their own benefit? Hidden/Flashlight/Double Time on that map, We Are Insane, and Pokerap; all SH's and XH's. Normally, I'd say that this person was just playing offline to practice and then logging in to play for real, but these 3 scores were all obtained within the same 2 hours. Definitely not possible.

What I find truly interesting, though, is he has two plays on Virus and no score. Wonder if it failed to work with his hax.

I wasn't sure about posting this here, but I will anyways caus it's buggin the crap outta me. I wonder am I doing something wrong?

OK, #1 score guy has 4 100's with no mods.
#2 score person has 100% accuracy, no mods

Me, I get 100% accuracy with no mods and my points are like 75% of any of these top 10 people. So am I doing something wrong? I can't think of anything differently I could do. Does Osu! have some variability in the points?

Maybe it's the spinner, there is 1 in this beatmap, but man I guess these people are really good spinners. But 25,000 more points from a spinner, I guess it's possible.

Anyways the song is "1,2,3,4..007" on easy mode. For some reason my screenshot button isn't working in song select mode.

1st to 4th of THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA!!!

There seems to be some sort of scoring error. All these scores, when replayed, clearly ended at 110k-ish (one even had a miss to the end) so there was no way these scores would have gotten that high if there wasn't a bug.

I posted because I ended up at 10th despite playing with three mods on.

I did all I could, literally, but couldn't get to the first place on "Neon Genesis Evangelion - Cruel Angel's Thesis" Easy difficulty.

I know I'm not the best in spinners, but the #1 only has hardrock and doubletime on, when I have also hidden and flashlight, which is supposed to bring 0.22x more points. Should be enough to compensate my sucky spinners and win him with perfect score o.O Check the replays and correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't do any exact calculations. I'm #16 at the moment.

The #9 with no mods on looks kinda fishy too, but can't tell.

Tormentor is legit, he's just ridiculous at spinning. Total points on this map is so small that spinner bonus can easily dwarf any mods in terms of points, so it's understandable.

#9 is questionable, though.

The top 4 on that map are ancient scores when scoring methods were a bit different. I guess they snuck by without being purged.

#5 is where the actual legit scores start for that map.

In Masayo Matsura - Paradise (Easy), I did it perfect with hidden, hardrock, double time and flashlight and i'm only the fourth. I've seen the replays of 1#HenkieBP, 2#Macned and 3#Quester 115 and the score doesn't look right...

I am completely dumbfounded right now.
I saw Saturos's score for Three Point One Four [Hard] and decided to watch the replay. I have no idea what happened. I'm thinking this is someone else's playthrough. Watch the replay, I started laughing because it seems so unlike him. I wonder if it's just me though. :/ :\

There was a couple builds of test osu a few months ago that had broken replays for a few hours. This was probably one of them that I scored on during that time. ;x

Bogus lookin' #1 score here... Watched the replay and it didn't look like the score would come anywhere near the reported amount. Add in the fact that no mods were used, and... yeah, I'm pretty sure this score is bogus.

I would ask that the submitters in this topic please read the entire thing before submitting. Multiple postings of the same score don't help matters much.

The score is also kinda hard to believe, because auto play got only a bit higher than that. Seeing salad! playing CtB is awesome, due to its teleportation powers.

Those were the old scores before there was a new algorithm, or something like that.

I remember this was mentioned in Chat weeks ago. Long story short, dj-jimbo was a spinner hacker. That's what peppy said at least. There was also a report similar to this on Okuru Kotoba...

On the song Genbu - Ganymede Beginner Macned had a SS without mods and has with spins 5000 his score in the game is rond 99.000 but his score is 120.148 and thats not fair.


Plz look the replay of that guy and ban him :x :x :x

i thought it would be spinners but in the replay he has a weird form of doin the spinners and gets low score on them
maybe a replay bug or a score bug? dunno

also 2nd place doesn't have replay and also other places show the same bug

i have seen guys that spin at 400 - 470

and it shows the score

maybe thats a replay bug and he did spin fast but wth? 2 mods 98 vs 3 mods 100?

anyway thats not the case... also u can check the other places replays like larto's one?

and the 2nd place doesn't have replay

There is the new formula for score.... before that people can spin over 1000 spins per minute :P

Ignore the scribbles... there's no horribly embarassing score there, I swear ._.;; (Iwasbored)

But yea... fruit gets A-rank #1 with no mods and ShaggoN uses Hard Rock and Flashlight AND gets SS but #2? And there's no spinners at all, so those aren't a possible reason.

dragoon's score is a lot larger than auto's score, even with the mod.
he got over 30k, but auto get only 20k, and my qmarco (spins around 475-477rpm) got only 199000.
it is weird, and if it is the ancient score, than i'll sorry about it.

how come ledzur did Super Mario Bros.(TECHNO remix) (easy), catch the beat mode with hardrock, double time , hidden and flashlight if u cant see at all? explain that to me -.- . smells to cheat* cough* extract.osu cough* i wont explain the extract stuff but if some of u played audi and changed some .acv files u know.

High scores #1 (eyup), #2 (Lumino), and #5 (Extor) of Phantasma - Fall Memories look too high without mods. Only one spinner; shouldn't make that big of a difference.

High scores #1 (SkyStriker), #2 (xerxes_oli), #3 (Skits), and #4 (Larto) of Rabbit Joint - Legend of Zelda look pretty high. #2 may be ligit, though -- I'll look into it a bit. #33 (Kyuuri) looks somewhat suspicious, too.

Super Mario Bros.(TECHNO remix) (easy) is very easy and very short. If someone put in the effort it wouldn't be that hard to remember everything and on top of that Ledzur is very good at CTB.

Edit:Hell I just did it myself in like two tries. Without hardrock and double time mind you, but its still very possible with them on, just takes a little more skill and effort.

His just a random noob, before the 100 combo at ctb u can c perfectly the fruits even with hidden, so, its a 61 combo that difficult, and i just did it to pwn a guy called Hanyou bcuz he pissed me off 1 day ^^.

Please guys, don't accuse people of cheating in this thread. Just bring up scores that you don't think look correct and leave the rest to us. Accusing people will get you nowhere..

But I think it's because of an update, at the time I achieved that, spinners were worth more... I think xD

Isn't there a notice every time you play Taiko which says the score formula is under development? These high D's could have used an older formula, or a newer one (test build).

After the song he is rank 21 or less

The replay says it's not a FC song but nevertheless he used hard rock.
The result says the player FCed the song although he got a miss on that song.

His movements are too perfect, always straight to the next beat...
and the replay on DejaVu is just impossible plus e FC'd it...

I looked at the replay of Deja Vu. It seems as if he played the match without DT then replayed it with a bot at twice the speed. That's probably how he got 477 spins and had some human-looking movements in places (see small repeating sliders).

Looking at the replay to Flyin' To Your Soul seems to result in a similar conclusion: he played with Half-Time then replayed at twice the speed to play normal time. Again, spinners are pretty fast (except the end, where he spun less than 200 on half-time =S).
