They got higher scores then me without mods, no 100% and also no spinners in this song
And from there CheeseWarlock told us to post.#Osu wrote:

16:41 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : but that does seem really odd
16:41 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : checking replay
16:41 <Daru> : Took 6 tries as well. :/
16:42 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : bit high score too lol
16:43 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : the cursor jumps on sliders
16:43 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : like from start to end
16:43 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : Daru did you check the replay?
16:43 <Daru> : Yeah... seems rather odd.
16:43 <The_Priest_In_Yellow|irc> : those jumps on sliders look really odd tbh
16:44 <Daru> : ^ Was what I was thinking
16:44 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : rythm is kind of odd though
16:44 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : look at the long sliders though
16:45 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : it looks interesting
16:45 <Daru> : The end as well...
16:45 <Daru> : he nearly FC'ed that last bit.
16:45 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : yeah the spinner looks really odd
16:45 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : cursor jumps everywhere
16:45 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : uh, I might be overstepping my bounds. But I think this needs to be checked
16:46 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : neither am I, suggest you let someone badass look at it. Then take it to peppy...
16:48 <CheeseWarlock> : It's definitely suspicious, Priest.
16:48 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : I thought so Cheese
16:48 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : you notice the spinners in the end?
16:48 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : that should be proof if anything imho
16:50 <CheeseWarlock> : The spinners in the end, the perfectly linear movement in the beginning...
16:51 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : and the jumps during sliders
16:51 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : from start to endpoint if you noticed it
16:51 <CheeseWarlock> : And IMMEDIATE jumps
16:51 <The_Priest_In_Yellow> : so I can't really say... but I personally don't like the looks of it

Super Mario Bros.(TECHNO remix) (easy) is very easy and very short. If someone put in the effort it wouldn't be that hard to remember everything and on top of that Ledzur is very good at CTB.
Edit:Hell I just did it myself in like two tries. Without hardrock and double time mind you, but its still very possible with them on, just takes a little more skill and effort.
Lol xD I never actually noticed that, I almost never watch my own replays unless the map is epic.Eddycted wrote:

Isn't there a notice every time you play Taiko which says the score formula is under development? These high D's could have used an older formula, or a newer one (test build).Azu wrote:
Almost everyone who plays Taiko uses a Macro. I've seen D's above S's.
The old formula scores were all wiped before the newer scoring formula came into effectstrager wrote:

Please don't make assumptions like that, it just seems that way because macro'd scores get more points, and are therefore shown in the scoreboard more oftenAzu wrote:

It's a workaround for another bug. Just ignore it for now.Atmey wrote:

I looked at the replay of Deja Vu. It seems as if he played the match without DT then replayed it with a bot at twice the speed. That's probably how he got 477 spins and had some human-looking movements in places (see small repeating sliders).mtmcl wrote:
If you want more evidence on this one, check out Canseidon's DT replay on Dejavu [Ultimate]
Looking at the replay to Flyin' To Your Soul seems to result in a similar conclusion: he played with Half-Time then replayed at twice the speed to play normal time. Again, spinners are pretty fast (except the end, where he spun less than 200 on half-time =S).osuplayer111 wrote:

The notes are very close there. Border of Death has some jumps and things which could easily be missed. It also has more sliders which you can't read in FL.osuplayer111 wrote:
Rolled, look on justice to believe too... 910 combos XD
Now there's a Flashlight + Hidden S. Must've played the song a ridiculous amount of times if it's legit.Rolled wrote:
I don't buy 3 flashlight S's on Border of Death. I wish I had some solid information to back it up, other than the map is too fucking hard to FL (4:34 long, 931 max combo.
Seriously, its hard enough to no-mod S. FL is overkill.
Anyone should be able to S any song on FL if they can do it without FL. FL doesn't increase the difficulty like Hardrock or DT. All it requires is a good memory and a lot of plays. Some players will memorize a map faster than others, but if you play something enough, you'll be able to FL it.Rolled wrote:

The bits at the beginning are "spinners" in normal osu mode, which translates to "fruit spam" in CtB mode. you don't need to catch all the fruits to clear it or get 100%, they're just bonus. If you watch your own replay, you didn't catch them all either.Miek wrote:
This is about BanYa - Csikos Post on hardest difficulty, on Catch the Beat.
I looked through some of the replays there that had rank SS. 100,00%. At the replays, they miss a lot of fruits in the beginning of the song, and end up with around 70 - 80%, yet on the record it still says SS and 100,00%
I, however, did actually clear the whole song with 100,00%, which appearently noone else has. I ended up on 11th place.
It's also pretty funny that #1 - #7 all have rank SS and 100,00%, yet they don't have the same combo.
Is this just some sort of bug, or are they cheating?
Not sure how first place guy has a higher combo, but I'd guess it has to do with his score being from 2008. I'll look into it
Edit: Man, that first place score is really messed up: http://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmap?b=15228&m=2
Oh, i noticed the same thing in a replay of mine, in this song: http://osu.ppy.sh/s/5672Zekira wrote:
The current #2Marisa score is kind of... bugged, when the new build was released... I dunno why it happened, but the case then seems that the replay shows a miss in between the slider spams, when in the actual play it wasn't...
...how do I know this? Duh, that score is mine. I could swear I did NOT miss in that slider spam, yet the replay says I did! What is this?! Even the replay I stored in the local scoreboard also shows that I missed somewhere...?!
So the score looks right, but the replay doesn't! O_O
This also occurs on White Wolf's Kanbu replay.Card N'FoRcE wrote:

I broke the combo only at the end, but the replay shows a miss in a slider spam that didn't show before (so the same case as your marisa's replay).
I remember since i watched it sometimes, so i think it's a little bug in the new build.

The replay had 8000 bonus on the first spinner and 12000 on the second (with hard rock). I just tried it myself with with hard rock and managed 6000 on the first (probably could have been higher, didn't expect the spinner) and 11000 on the second one with a mouse. Definitely possible.ToRMeNToR_84 wrote:
On Gojou Kai - Touhou Youkai Komachi [Normal] I don't believe the spinners in the #1 players replay. They seem completely fake to me. Not even a tablet player can spin that precisely and fast. The #2 player seems to have a more believable score.

See scoring in the FAQ.Marseille wrote:
I have been playing the Taiko mod for Osu! and I don't understand how the scoring actually works. I say this because I constantly get higher percentages and such but I end up have a lower ranking on most songs. This unfortunately leaves me confused.
For example, I'm playing the Osu! beatmap for "Welcome to the N.H.K (Shishido Rumi) - Fushigi Purupuru Pururin Rin!" on the Puru~ difficulty on the Taiko mode. I just recently received 100% accuracy on this song but I find I am only ranked 12th with 122,982 points. While, the first place person, Seshiri, has an accuracy of 86.67% and a score of 190,068 points. No mods of any kind have been used, I checked. This is rather confusing.
This is a problem and should be reported in this thread (as you have done).Marseille wrote:
Another thing I don't understand is the replays you can watch from other ranking people. On the same song, same difficulty, same everything, I watch Seshiri's 1st place replay of ""Welcome to the N.H.K (Shishido Rumi) - Fushigi Purupuru Pururin Rin!". I watch until the end of the replay and right before the screen fades to the results screen his score is: ~100,200 points. But then at the results screen his score is magically 190,608 points. I really don't understand this.
While, the first place person, Seshiri, has an accuracy of 86.67% and a score of 190,068 pointsThis is an old replay from a time where the taiko drumrolls didn't have any restrictions yet.
