ive already finished my song! i had it prepared before registration ended :3

like i said before, i sampled the riff from riptide - vance joy cuz i suck at making melodies, but technically, every song ever made is sampled, right? so it shouldn't really matter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
so yeah, here's my song! sorry if it sounds bad :( oop forgor to export as wav hold on

the only thing about the song that gets shown here is the song title. you dont actually have to listen to the song here. (as in you dont have to click on the links) if you press play and it ruins the surprise for you, thats your fault.

but if the song title ruins the surprise for you alone that's uhhh kinda my fault

but in any case, i actually started incorporating "proper" breakcore tech (moreso just treating the loops like audio instead of just an instrument like a piano)

Trying to finish composing it is gonna be pretty challenging, because I haven't really spent this much time trying to polish out my track, just so that my sample looks any "good"...

I'll probably finish it someday though...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!
So after some contemplation, I have realized that I kinda messed up on the whole planning process.
So I have now decided to removed the whole registration phase thing so now people can make a song regardless of whether or not they were "registered"
I also might rework the whole "song making phase" thing as well so stay tuned to that

ALMOST 5 MINUTES OF DUBSTEP (I hope this sounds good)



INCLUDES SOFLAN (aka BPM changes)



MIXERS



DUBSTEP SOUNDS WITH COMPLEX DESIGN (because LMMS built-in pitch effects sucks ass)



AND OF COURSE OTT!!!




Btw if you have a nice sound sample to include in the track it would be good, I feel like something is missing, in addition of a title.

even though i've been super hyped about it ever since i first posted about it, after actually trying to make the mashup, i might wind up not doing the mashup (the rhythm sounds horrifyingly cluttered + i don't like minamo no sakura downshifted to a-flat major (since minamo no sakura is in e major and takes a whole step down to get to a-flat major, which is the key that shoujo-A is in (i can't do shoujo-A repitched a whole step up because it'd just sound like a knife scratching into glass)))
