Honestly, you going against this thread is absolutely the reason why OT is ruined and why no one takes the RC for what it truly is: a set of rules and guidelines that sanity-checks every post that enters this subforum, a layer of protection from rebels like you who strive to force their "freeform" "movement speech" agenda on newcomers.

it's people like you and your subdivision who're always complaining on every OT thread about the quality of every post, yet all you do is complain, complain, and complain. I see no one trying to make RC proposals to amend flawed guidelines, I see no one joining the BN to actually make an impactful change towards this scene, everything that has stemmed from your clique and secret discord servers is whining and pure hatred revolving around the culture of flaming people who disagree with you beyond mercy. you're just a loud coward who hides behind the façade of a revolutionary.

I have to say, I am utterly disappointed with the quality of this osu! mania map. It's an absolute disaster, and it seems like the mapper had no idea what they were doing. From the very first note, I could tell that this map was going to be a nightmare to play.

First of all, the mapping style is completely inconsistent. It's as if the mapper couldn't make up their mind about what kind of map they wanted to create. One section will have a steady stream of notes that follows the music perfectly, and then suddenly it will switch to a jumbled mess of random patterns that have no relation to the music whatsoever. It's disorienting and makes it impossible to develop any kind of rhythm or flow while playing.

Furthermore, the difficulty spikes in this map are just ridiculous. One moment, you'll be cruising along, hitting notes with ease, and then out of nowhere, the map throws in an absurdly fast and complex section that is nearly impossible to navigate. It's like the mapper decided to punish players for no reason at all. It's not enjoyable, it's frustrating.

The mapping itself is sloppy and lacks precision. The hit objects are placed haphazardly on the screen, and it's often difficult to tell which note corresponds to which part of the music. This lack of clarity makes it incredibly frustrating to play, as you're constantly guessing where the notes are supposed to be. It's almost as if the mapper didn't take the time to properly align the notes with the music.

Another major issue with this map is the lack of variety in patterns. It feels like the mapper relied on the same few patterns over and over again, making the gameplay repetitive and monotonous. There's no creativity or innovation in the map design, and it quickly becomes boring to play.

Also, the overall difficulty balance is completely off. The map jumps from being too easy to being way too difficult without any gradual progression. It's a jarring experience that leaves players feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. A well-designed map should have a smooth difficulty curve that allows players to gradually improve their skills and feel a sense of accomplishment, but this map completely misses the mark.

The map lacks proper pacing and progression. There's no sense of build-up or climax in the gameplay. It feels like the mapper just randomly placed notes without considering the natural flow and energy of the music. A well-designed map should take into account the dynamics and structure of the song, creating sections that gradually increase in intensity and provide players with a satisfying sense of progression. Unfortunately, this map fails to deliver on that front.

Additionally, the map suffers from poor timing and synchronization. The hit objects often feel out of sync with the music, making it incredibly difficult to establish a consistent timing and rhythm while playing. It's frustrating to constantly feel like you're playing ahead or behind the beat, as it disrupts the immersion and enjoyment of the game. Properly syncing the map with the music is a fundamental aspect of osu! mapping, and it's disheartening to see it neglected in this map.

Another issue is the lack of consideration for player comfort and ergonomics. Osu! mania gameplay heavily relies on keyboard input, and a well-designed map should take this into account. However, this map seems to completely disregard the natural hand movements and key patterns that players are accustomed to. It introduces awkward and uncomfortable patterns that strain the fingers and make it difficult to execute precise movements. This not only detracts from the overall enjoyment of the map but can also lead to physical discomfort or even injuries for players who attempt to play it intensively.

The the map lacks a clear artistic direction. A successful map should not only provide a challenging gameplay experience but also have a cohesive theme or style that enhances the immersion and visual appeal. However, this map feels disjointed and lacks a unifying theme. It's as if the mapper simply threw together random elements without any consideration for aesthetics or coherence. As a result, the map feels soulless and uninspiring.

Overall, the quality of this osu! mania map is severely lacking. From the inconsistent mapping style to the difficulty spikes, poor placement of hit objects, lack of pattern variety, unbalanced difficulty, timing issues, disregard for player comfort, and absence of a clear artistic direction, it fails on multiple fronts. As a player, it's disheartening to come across such a poorly crafted map. I hope that mappers in the community can learn from these shortcomings and strive to create maps that are engaging, well-designed, and enjoyable to play.

  • The light grey combo color blends with the background too much which makes some of the hitobjects hardly visible.

  • The issues mentioned by Loctav and listed in the previous disqualification post have not been addressed properly again. Like stated previously, everything is mandatory to be fixed.
  1. 00:35:986 (4) - The song’s calm atmosphere does not call for such overmapping.
  2. 00:49:926 (2,3,4,2,3,4) - Overmapped. The music does not have anything in it that would justify these.
  3. 01:01:502 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,1) - This part is overmapped. The song does not have a constant 1/4 rhythm going on.
  4. 03:16:013 (2,3,4,2,3,4) - This case is similar to 00:49:926 (2,3,4,2,3,4) - just more extreme. There is literally nothing in the music, making this completely overmapped.

If you happen to have concerns about this disqualification, you can contest the decision with this form. Before using this form, please read the instructions carefully.

The Beatmap Nominators may handle this mapset after the issues have been addressed.

I like this. Please rank it faster so I can gain more performance points. I must say that I enjoyed the 1-2 jumps towards the end. You should consider replacing the stream part and slow parts with those 1-2 jumps. It won't hurt anyone if you
add more of them jumps right?

Hello mapper! I have a few big issues with the beatmap that make it unrankable.

00:09:51 - one of the notes is 3m too far from the last one.
00:16:23 - the spinner section is 2m too short.
00:37:26 - the slider is about 4m too short to the rhythm.

Fix those errors and I'll consider nominating this.

these jump streams basically don't make sense in the context of the map, they're the only thing in the map that requires such aim, and thus are an extremely large spike in contrast to the map. while they are mapped to the drum rolls, the drum rolls themselves aren't particularly lout or prominent in respect to the song either, they just happen to occur before each chorus.

another issue with these is the non-consistency between them, they are all different movement varieties, and vary in difficulty as a result even though each one is mapped to the exact same sounds.

ok these mods are always triggering me a bit..

it's just focusing WAY TOO MUCH on the tiny details and I hate it...

(And then they give up modding, because they feel like it has too many flaws...)

Jokes aside (or not really I suppose)..
I now try to pick certain modders or beatmap nominators, mostly when it comes to osumod I think idk..

Because some of their request list is like 90% denied or othets are just full of pending ones that are left out...

I hate it that you have to wait for multiple days just to have a chance of getting a response and then I see a couple of maps that have their bn accepted, but like they don't get a nomination or nothing really is done about???
It's like there are an infinite amount of steps during the process and I really don't like it. But like I am pretty inexperienced at actually communicating woth someone, because I am just an introvert that isn't really used to have friends.. I feel like there's a wall that I can't reach. A wall that says: "No, this is NOT a way of how to do a good map" or something similar...
