OT Presidential Election Winner Announcement


- The CUMing -
Welcome back denizens and dwellers for this is the final announcement for this year's presidential election. Some of you will be cheering, while others will be heartbroken but always remember this- OT always has been and always will stay together like a family. No matter who the next president is, OT will always be a cozy home for some while a nostalgic memory for others. I would like to thank everyone that participated in this year's election even if you weren't a denizen.
Now onto the main event, the results-
Now for the results, the person who shall be leading OT for the next year is...

The following is the statistics of the votes.
All confirmed votes had been documented along with the unique tokens that have been provided to the denizens whom have voted.

This announcement thread will also serve as a post election discussion thread for denizens and a post election speech thread for presidential candidates.
Denizens are free to discuss the results of the election and share their opinions on this thread.
My job here is finally done and before I leave, I would like to congratulate our new president. I would also like to thank the rest of the candidates for this wouldn't have been such an exciting election without the rest of you guys. For those that voted for our new president, great, but for those who didn't, don't be sad. There will always be new opportunities next year and for the parliament election coming in a few months.

I would also like to say my final goodbye to our 2022 president, ghoulybits. Some doubted you but I know you did the best you possibly can, serving under you was a fun time. So long president.

And for the rest of you guys, I hope that you guys are excited for another chaotic and fun year on OT, for I wish the best for OT.

Well, I would've voted for eblf anyways even if I did have the right to vote.

Congrats eblf2013! I'm kind of excited to see the things you do to improve OT. I'm going to be honest, you were the only candidate I really wanted to support.

I'd like to thank all of my voters in this year's election. It's a shame that I didn't win, but the margins were close and I do appreciate all the support.
Too bad I wasn't able to earn the trust of more denizens.

Alas, I hope Eblf will be able to do a fine job as the new OT president and is able to fulfill what denizens expected of him when they voted for him during his term.

Good morning, afternoon or evening to all the denizens, dwellers and lurkers of Off-Topic. I am the most glad for having been elected by the people of this forum. I thank you all for your votes and thanks to all the other people that voted for the other candidates as well for having executed your right of choose in a democratic election.

I would like to state that these elections were actually interesting because in this election in particular all candidates have had pretty good proposals, this could be seen reflected into the results of the elections, the results were actually tied in the second place! Either way, good job for all other candidates as well.

As usual, a cycle has to end and a new cycle has to begin. I would like to thank Ghoulybits for her work as president, now it's time for the baton pass, baton which I will carry for this year.

As for current times of the Generation 9, a generation full of potential and a good number of interesting denizens, I have noticed that there is a bit of turbulence especially among the newcomers here. I hope to make this a more welcoming place for newcomers, a place that encourages the creation of quality threads and a place where we do what we do best, being the best garbage dump of the planet earth which someday will get to dominate it.

Last but not least, as a member of the Grass Party, I would recommend all people to touch their daily RV
amount of grass.

In some countries they make a second round of elections in case the margin is too close or one candidate does not reach a certain percentage of votes. Common mostly in South America (But not this country however lol)

Looking back on it, ghoulybits isn't even that active on here like Eblf. So why should she get another term?

you never know. Maybe she was more active in the "channel for government members" in neus. I dont fully disagree with you

but there is nothing to change in OT!. Everything is good. When You will count "old fags" you will understand why changing denizen requirement is not that important as well as more changes newfags want.

I do make fun of her but I can still understand things from her prespective. Even if she want a change, she cant on her own will

I think the 8 month requirement to become Denizen is fair, even if I do think certain events being Denizen only is a little inclusive.

I thought about removing the "changes not needed" message. but then I thought fuck it. Depends, like if something is closely related to OT! then it gonna be denizen only. Election, awards are one of the great example
