Awww yeah the storyboard's looking great
I put in Mekadon's kiai animations from normal play rather than the boss battle since I can't really block the view of notes (even if I wanted to lol) and it wouldn't look that good if they didn't.
It's almost done and I just need to add mekadon's kiai animations to the other kiai sections and copy-paste everything to Muzukashii.
Preview for you all in the meanwhile.
This is from the actual storyboard and not some crap screenshot I did in 5 seconds like the previous one.

Thanks again everyone for your support on this map!
(Roley for your star, and Rikers and Ozzy for further discussion on the SB)
Rikers: The SB looks awesome and I can't wait to implement it!
The problem, though, is that I am new to hardcore SB (the best I have done is lyrics SB, as you can see).
And I can only be on osu! at weekends as I have to attend school~ (but this should give more time for both of us)
Please do help and make this map even more awesome!

I would give you the whole storyboard in a rar and the .osu files I used so all you would really do is overwrite the .osus you have now. Pretty simple.

That's so nice of you. The first plan seems much safer to implement.
But since I don't think there's much to change in the maps, so the second works too.

Cool! I guess I can use it for osu! maps instead. People have been complaining pointing out that the present BG is of lesser quality.

Also, a list of the sb's features (lol):
-Includes authentic sprites ripped directly from the Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2.
-Don's normal animation when "passing".
-Don and Mekadon "dance" during Kiai (yes, Meka takes out his disco ball and it lights up like in the actual game) for Taiko Muzukashii.
-Mekadon's disco ball "sparkles" and his eyes flash.
-Don switches animation when "failing".
-Mekadon icon and name.
-The crowd at the bottom moves up and down like how it would in the game.

Upcoming things-
-Struggle animation for Taiko Oni.
-Make the hp bar look like the ones from the boss battles.
-Move Mekadon's name to the top and add Don's name to make it look a bit more like how it should.

That should be about it. Anyone have any suggestions? Before you ask, no I can't put those purple Waruru plates on the side. I already tried, sorry.

Would that be a hindrance for you?

EDIT: I have uploaded the new maps, with changes only in Hard diff.

You have to out-hit your opponent to do serious damage.

EDIT: It's called Gekitotsu/Brawl Note (ゲキトツ/激突 音符)

All you need to do is open the Stuff folder after extracting and drag everything to the root of the song folder

To be honest, I don't like the music so much.
But because of the SB it is much more cooler. Pro-SB, I gonna go to star this because of this.

Easy:
- Could use more claps.
- 00:42:545 (1): Add a finish at the start.
- 00:48:545 (1): Add a finish here, too.
- 01:45:545 (1): And here.

Normal:

- 00:15:168 (7,8): Try changing these to claps.

Sorry guys who looked forward to this map, I was occupied by other things than osu! for some time. But I am back and so someone please revive this. I shall make this ranked with whatever means I could!

Need a few more tweaks before this is really up for approval, but BAT mods are welcome! These includes changing artist name to Yukiko Yamamoto, the rightful singer, and fixing the easier Taiko diffs, which just finished mapping yesterday.

Why is it still Aqua's Oni :3 The rest are regular names as should the Oni be. I are grammer goodest.

All my mod is focused on spacing and very general stuff

[General]

All diff must have the same skin (Default or Taiko Skin)

Snap all unsnaped timing sections in Easy, Normal, Hard and Insane @_@

Set the preview time in 00:48:545 - for all

[Easy]

01:45:920 (2,3,4) - All song is spaced 0.8x, these are spaced 0.9x, I don't know if it's on purpose, but if don't fix please

[Normal]

For spacing consistency
01:21:545 (1) - Move to x:104 y:256
01:23:045 (2) - Move to x:376 y:208

[Hard]

There are some parts that spacing is >1.0x, I passed some of them because I think they're jumps, but check it, I only point those who broke consistency

For a better spacing and flow :3

Because 3Q-4U-AC00, Tsukikage SASURAI and Samba Alegria don't have SB-able stuff in the original game

It's fine. I am looking most to fixing equilateral trianglular and circular patterns in Insane.
Most changes look reasonable enough, Although I will have to see the changes in action before I decide whether to keep them.

The "Future Future" parts in the chorus is designed to be jumps.
Unlike 3Q-4U-AC00, I haven't been bold enough to change spacing in Kiai times.

Sorry for being a bit "nazi", that's no my real intention, but a well-spaced map looks better, I didn't think about the preview time, don't change it.

And thanks for reply to my mod, that will help me to improve in the future.

Sorry I have been busy with 3Q-4U-AC00, Ao no Senritsu thread and the modding queue lately.

Anyway we are going to see at least one mod here
because I am thinking of doing MM4GD (2mod4guestdiff)
in the November and December round in my queue.

Oh hi resurrected.

Remapping the long version instead.

+28 SP was from the previous version so for verification purposes they should be ignored.

Riker's SB and the Taiko authentic maps are separatedly available. Link later.
