I think these new members might be part of gen 9 if something huge happened or some time happens. We're at the point Gen 7 has only a little percentage of users active right now.

Old but reliable, never forget that, Realtek is old but still does what a sound driver needs to do

idk but for some reason on Linux I don't have any sound output detected I have to run the following command to make it work:
pulseaudio --start

Gen 8 cut off has been declared

New Gen 9 denizens will start getting added once I figure out what to write about them, cause I have no idea what they contributed to OT so far. This may or may not be partly due to me not keep tracking of stuff in the chronicles

Not quite, you are placed into the generation when you become denizen not when you first joined.

When you have 8 months of activity under your belt, you will be selected by the parliament to become a denizen.

Yeah, I think making good threads/contributions should matter more than time spent/number of posts.
There are old denizens we remember because they did a lot of things and we can see them a lot in the chronicles but some others everyone forgot about.
