Just asking for such a skin; here follows my rationale.
I am pretty sure this is useful to a taiko player even if I am not one -- when a big note arrives and the player is on a normal skin, the big note fully covers up the hit position for quite a bit of time, making it easy to go off and score 可 (100). With a hint for big notes this shouldn't be a problem.
Some people might say that it is cheating, but taiko no tatsujin give such hints, so it shouldn't be a cheat. osu!lazer default skin also have such hints.
