Awww man, the batch file has been removed. But this post is still here, and the spinner circles are still there for people to use, so I might as well keep everything (except the batch file) the way it is.

Anyways, you people may have realized that the ugly looking spinner circle has her ribbons trailing around her in a certain direction. Well, by default they are oriented for clockwise spinning (direction of Auto), but if you're like me, and you spin counter-clockwise, you can actually change that by nabbing the corresponding spinner circle here and renaming it.

Just follow these steps, and it should work right.

Download the image you want, then move it to the song directory.

Note that the file hoster I used had renamed the files, so they technically won't work unless you rename them to spinner-circle.png. At that stage, you can rename or move or delete the old spinner, and then move in the new spinner into the song directory. After you've renamed it (to spinner-circle.png), it should work fine in game, so I hope this hasn't been too much of a hassle. Have fun~

...I had no idea what I was getting into when I agreed to mod this map.

General: Kiai time is different on all four difficulties. The storyboard is... distracting.

Easy: Seems good to me.

Normal: 00:11:174 (5) - You might want to make this repeater repeat one more time. As is, it feels like this pattern stops prematurely. Then again, it seems like you did this on purpose so... do what you will. This also happens on 00:13:917 (3,4) and 00:16:660 (5).
00:34:488 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This pattern doesn't make any sense... fits the map perfectly.

Hard: 01:15:803 (1,2,3,4,1) - The break time after this comes out of nowhere and feels very abrupt. Maybe map something here?

Lunatic: I'm no good at modding Insanes so... Yeah.

There seems to be alot of effort put into this map, but it's really not my thing. Starred anyway though.

*bubble.png has too much unneeded transparency, so crop it down to only the part you need.
*createdby.png: Perhaps change your name?
*getdown animation: Uh, I don't think I've ever seen a full-screen animation being used before, but since the SB load is only 1.0 it should be okay. However (as I say over and over again), consider resizing to 640x480.
*hina1.png: Resize so that the height is under 600 or 480px.
*hina2/6.png: Could be under 480 height.
*logo.png: " under 600 width.
*Repeat for other non-fullscreen images that are still over 640x480.

...Yeah, about that... It better be rankable ;~; You see all those slider points that aren't even on screen?? It took a lot of effort to get those in place. You say it looks somewhat confusing with MMSliders, but I think, the swirly look of it is enough to tell me it goes round and round. This map used to have normal sized hit circles, so you could see the track borders on this slider, but I thought it looked ugly. Plus, this is an [Insane], I'm pretty sure lots of pros can read this circly-looking spiral shaped slider in a Hina map. I'm sure there are a variety of spiral shaped sliders out there, so I'm hoping I'm allowed to keep this.

I didn't mean "optimize" as in "save folder space", but rather "storyboards are 640x480 by default, so if you're using a full-screen image you might as well crop it down to 640x480." :p

@Spiral slider: I would probably let it slide, especially since it's on an Insane difficulty, but other BATs might disagree (which is why I pointed it out). You did a nice job with it, though, so I'd also hate to see it go.

Lunatic.... is okay... ._. If I can't pass it, then I don't think there's any need to make it further spaced out (I'm not too good at far spacing so that would alter the standards). I changed Hard though, and although I would like it to look similar in difficulty to Normal, I increased everything by 0.1. It looks almost as fast as Lunatic now, except without the spam. But it looks less like an old map now, thanks for your mod. c:

I actually... really like the way my slider swirls, in my opinion, it emphasizes the silky smoothness of MM sliders, and looks better without the tracks. It looks like you put effort into that though... and the entire mod of my map too, so you deserve a kudosu

Also, @ Zelos, thanks for looking over my map but... err, I'm not sure what to do about the stuff you pointed out. Either that, or I don't think it's really that important. Thanks for your mod though nonetheless.

Hey, answering your mod request. Green = ignore if you wish, just some design opinions and minor nazi stuff.

[Lunatic]:

1. Kiai time is different than to the other diffs.
2. Due to the streamy nature of the map, I suggest OD-1.
3. 00:28:431 (1,2,1,2,3) - I don't like these. They don't exactly follow the music. I think that you should remove them and map the bass drum instead (with a jump preferably, to make it harder). The time line should look like this. The second note needs a new combo though. The first note is stacked on the slider end. About the position for the other two, it's up to you to choose (jump jump!).
4. 00:42:031 (5) - This one is perfectly alright. But listen to the bass drum. I think it would be much more interesting and fitting to map that instead, especially since this is a lunatic mode.
5. 00:44:088 (1) - Same reason as the above. It's is good, placed correctly but it doesn't fit into a lunatic diff if you ask me. Also suggesting to listen to the bass drum (a DRRRRRRRRR slider for the really fast beats).
6. 01:01:917 - The map is fairly short, I don't think this break is really necessary. The words are pretty fast here as well, really a nice spot to add some triplets of destruction!
7. 01:28:317 - Add a note and start the spinner after it instead. That yell sounds pretty important to just leave it out if you ask me.

[Hard]:

1. The stuff is mapped really densely. You should raise AR by 1 to avoid getting too much stuff on the screen. Also, OD seems a bit too easy, consider adding 1. HP drain really needs +1 though, missing many notes in a row and getting full health back after a few sliders seems broken to me.
2. 01:17:003 - Uh map this break please! The stuff in here is kiaiworthy almost. Too important to just leave it out. Follow the voice if you think the rest is too hard for a Hard.
3. 01:26:174 (1,2,3) - These could be difficult to read for a player who is able to play up to hard diffs mostly. It's alright but I suggest a change to a repeating slider instead.
4. 01:28:317 - Add a note here and start the spinner after this one instead. Same reason like in lunatic.

[Normal]:

1. 00:20:088 (3) - This slider feels a bit weird. Just make a circle on it's spot instead (and reposition the next combo a little).
2. 00:40:545 (2,5,8) - Notes like these are a bit too hard for a Normal diff. I suggest to remove them completely, it still plays well enough with just sliders.
3. 00:48:374 (2) - Same as above. Remove this note. (Just a thought, this does not apply to 00:50:088 (6) because that note is really visible and actually fits nicely)
4. 00:59:174 (1,2) - I don't like their overlapping. Try making it so they barely touch each other, would look much better. Nothing serious though.
5. 01:04:660 (1,2) - Too hard for a normal. Instead of this circle just prolong the slider to the 2's timeline.
6. 01:05:345 (3,4) - ^
7. 01:07:574 (1,2,3,4,5) - I would also say this is a bit too hard for a normal. Remove 1 and 4.
8. 01:15:631 - Map this break please. You could add repeating sliders atleast to suit the normal diff. Something like this to show you an example.
9. 01:22:488 (1,2,3,4) - Too hard for a normal. Remove those 4. I suggest making a repeating slider instead of 123 and leave a blank space instead of 4.
10. 01:25:917 (3) - Same as the slider I described at the beginning. Add a circle instead and leave the space blank afterwards.
11. 01:28:060 (1) - Hina is not spinning enough. Extend this spinner all the way to the end of kiai section.

[Easy]:

1. HP drain-1, AR-1. Problem with current AR is that it's too fast for a proper easy, but it's still really low and will display too much stuff on screen. Up to you to decide.
2. In general I think this diff has too many circles. You should completely remove almost all the stacked circles and make them repeating sliders instead (which return only once preferably).
3. 00:20:774 (5) - Hard to read for someone who does only easy maps. You should just make it a long slider instead.

1. Your current easy seems more like a normal to me. What I suggest is that you create a new easy and then drop the "difficulty" mods I made on the current easy (apart from hpdrain and ar). Rename the current easy to normal, current normal to hard (let's face it, it looks quite hard for a normal) and current hard into insane (consider adding another point to hp drain and AR then). This would spread the difficulties a bit better. In the new easy try not to map as much 1/4 ticks, maybe only slider ends if you can help it, else it looks too hard.

I can't mod storyboard as I don't have much experience there, so that's pretty much it.

7. 01:28:317 - Add a note and start the spinner after it instead. That yell sounds pretty important to just leave it out if you ask me. Actually, I think it fits well with that specific *moment* that you start spinning. It could just be me, but nobody said anything about this yet so....

[Hard]:

1. The stuff is mapped really densely. You should raise AR by 1 to avoid getting too much stuff on the screen. Also, OD seems a bit too easy, consider adding 1. HP drain really needs +1 though, missing many notes in a row and getting full health back after a few sliders seems broken to me. As much as I'd want to do this, the star rating will exceed [Lunatic]
2. 01:17:003 - Uh map this break please! The stuff in here is kiaiworthy almost. Too important to just leave it out. Follow the voice if you think the rest is too hard for a Hard. You must hate my breaks D: If I mapped this part out, the stuff after the break loses a certain feeling of awesomeness...
3. 01:26:174 (1,2,3) - These could be difficult to read for a player who is able to play up to hard diffs mostly. It's alright but I suggest a change to a repeating slider instead. I can read it perfectly fine. If you see sliders with repeats like that stacked in that position, automatically assume 2 repeats.
4. 01:28:317 - Add a note here and start the spinner after this one instead. Same reason like in lunatic. Meh ._.

[Normal]:

1. 00:20:088 (3) - This slider feels a bit weird. Just make a circle on it's spot instead (and reposition the next combo a little). Using just a circle feels more weird ._.
2. 00:40:545 (2,5,8) - Notes like these are a bit too hard for a Normal diff. I suggest to remove them completely, it still plays well enough with just sliders. Whaaat, people double click though files and folders everyday, this isn't much harder... Actually, the main reason is because it becomes really plain, and it ruins the note counts of my diffs (101, 123, 201, 321) EDIT: Modified a bit, should be easier.
3. 00:48:374 (2) - Same as above. Remove this note. (Just a thought, this does not apply to 00:50:088 (6) because that note is really visible and actually fits nicely) This note fits really nicely as well you knowww
4. 00:59:174 (1,2) - I don't like their overlapping. Try making it so they barely touch each other, would look much better. Nothing serious though.Can't space the slider head/tail far enough for that.
5. 01:04:660 (1,2) - Too hard for a normal. Instead of this circle just prolong the slider to the 2's timeline. Fixed
6. 01:05:345 (3,4) - ^ Arghhh, fixed

Reason is, once it's zoomed in, it's fitting osu!'s sb resolution perfectly. I don't want to have it all pixelized and zoomed and ugly looking. People will do fine with it. I already optimized the rest of the images, plus this sb is pretty light compared to many other full sbs.

Well I took most of your suggestions, and it doesn't seem like there's THAT much wrong with my map >_> At least, I don't think so. Please at least try to mention, if my difficulties need lots of work, what's wrong with them? Everything? Is it because they're old? Do I just suck at mapping? 00:18:031 (1,2) - Same, only this time a double as facepalmworthy pattern since the overlap with 3 is poor at best.
00:34:488 (1,2,3) - Why are these suddenly on red ticks instead of purple?
00:47:860 (7,1) - lol spacing. Mirror the upcoming square.
01:01:145 (1,2,3,4) - this suddenly follows the instruments. Why, especially knowing you follow the vocals pristinely up to this point.
01:07:403 (1,2,3) - Ugly overlap of 1 and 3
01:11:517 (1) - TERRIBLE. Put a break there, or at the very least take all of those returns out. This is lazy space-filling, not mapping. Out out out! As a side note, the break at 01:02 is bad, doesn't fit songwise and gives a feel of "I didn't feel like mapping this part so have a break. Coming up next, overly extended slider!"
01:15:802 (1,2) - and onwards seems to have been mapped differently than, wel, everything else. Usually mapping over time isn't as noticable, but in this case it's actually quite jarring to see both a significant change in patterns and a slight pumping up of the spacing.
01:20:431 (4,5,6) - Perfect example of the style change. True to the other part of the map you would have better mapped this on the synth, following white--blue--red or however you want to describe that.

00:11:174 (5) - Have it bend up instead.
00:38:603 (5) - This slider is cringe-worthy.

...And most of the Lunatic suggestions have been fixed, and some of the Normal. I'll also probably map over the break and fix up Hard's sliders.

Mind you this map is over a year old, and a bunch of the stuff from Lunatic were unmodified from how they originally were over a year ago. I completely remapped the ending, so that's why it's different, but the beginning section was the same as it was a year ago. Oh, the preview point is old, and so are a couple of other things. So if my map is really that retarded, that's mostly why. Bleh, well, I'll start remapping some stuff, thanks for the mod.

Thanks for the mod! As for the questionable content, I'm pretty sure any younger audiences won't even understand the storyboard. I worked pretty hard on it, so it probably deserves to be a bit distracting :3

For your mod, I moved the spinners at the ends of each difficulty. However, that was all. For what you suggested in Easy, it's only an aesthetic suggestion, and also, the slider is currently supposed to be perfectly encircling a slight portion of that side of the slider (see approach circle of next note lines up with slider). And for the one on hard, I'll agree that your suggestion goes with the lyrics, but it's just as intuitive in its current position, and if I move it, I'll have to readjust the entire curve, and all the slider ticks will sound off.

I hope you don't mind those two things ^~^; the rest of the map appears to be good?

It looks really fast, but if you look at the source video (link in map description), her mouth moves that fast too. I fixed the second one a little bit, and I made the instant fade ins though.

1. Also, the text file... well, I'd really vote for removing that out since no one's supposed to be dwelling around there. osz2 is looking at you. It's about something really minor, so there shouldn't be any problems with leaving it in the thread only.
2. The mapping is okay... it could be better, but you're getting there. Have you ever tried pattern-based mapping~?

Timing

1. Has anyone checked timing? I'm not completely sure, but I'm getting +7ms from what you have. Current one sounds a bit early.

Skin

1. The spinner is a bit distracting. I have difficulty telling where the approach circle is, reading what the words that pop up say, etc. I'm aware it's fully readable while being static, but as a quick glampse (much like when a spinner pops up and goes), it is kind of a problem. Perhaps you could look into that.

Storyboard

1. The SB image... I understand why you don't want to resize it lower, but, you see, it just can't be that large. It isn't a guideline, it's a rule. Sorry. You could, I don't know, perhaps have the zoomed in part in a separate image and use that for when it's fullscreen.

Errr, they look like they're snapped to 1/3 to me o3o. If you're talking about 00:34:488 (1-6), then those are like that because of how the song is sung. I wasn't really sure of whether to stick with 1/3rds or not, but I they're only sliders, so I stuck with accuracy of the vocals.
