Thanks for the mod! I definitely appreciated the changes you suggested to both the rolls and the sections with triple jacks. I went ahead and propogated those changes to the rest of the map, and also made some pattern improvements in the second half - hopefully the map gets updated before you continue.Tofu1222 wrote:

- 00:27:654 - 00:31:454 - 00:32:054 - 00:33:054 - As for consistency, I think you need double notes for these points to represent the vocal sounds. sure, applied most. for a few of them, adding a double would have made the 4 note stream a bit messy, and i feel there wasn't enough to emphasize with a double.
- 00:36:654 (36654|1,36654|2,37054|0,37054|2,37054|3,37254|3,37254|1,37454|2,37454|0,37654|3,37654|1) - Actually I would prefer you to make them into single so you can keep your focus rather on the vocals throughout this part, which adds to consistency here.- okay
- 00:37:854 - 00:38:054 - 00:38:454 - 00:39:054 - Then for these points, you can have double notes for vocal. fixed all but first and last. for first, i think that it's more important to emphasize the note after, since the vocals don't really do anything there, but i added a note. for the last one, i think the main emphasis on the word is one beat later instead.
- 00:39:254 - And you don't need double here. see last point, i think there's more emphasis here instead
- 00:43:254 - 00:46:654 - 00:51:654 - 00:52:054 - More places to make things into double notes for vocal. accepted some, but in some places i think the instruments and vocals aren't loud enough to make it a double
- 00:52:454 (52454|3,52454|0,52520|2) - I think the snap here should not be like that if you use double for vocal. Instead, the double should be placed on 00:52:587 - , 1/6 snap, where the vocal really starts, so I would suggest you try this pattern: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/10854556 eh, i don't think it starts there... pretty sure it starts on the white line.
- 00:56:954 (56954|2,57054|1,57154|2,57254|1,57354|2,57454|1) - 00:58:554 (58554|1,58654|2,58754|1,58854|2,58854|0,58954|1,58954|3) - I don't really think you need such stacks at the beginning part of this map. Try to rearrange them a bit. conversely, i believe that they add a nice element to the map of a somewhat 'back and forth' rhythm. just streams here would be boring, and the jungle drums end up playing quite nicely with the stacks/trills/current patterns.
- 01:05:054 (65054|3,65354|3) - LN end on 1/8 makes less sense than ending them to 1/4 as they are the right place where the sounds stop. 01:05:654 (65654|3) - For this you can have some difference but I'd prefer 1/4 for simplification. i think i see what you mean. i just tried to do this for some consistency since the sounds are the same, but i'll see what i can do.
- 01:06:254 (66254|1,66354|1) - Move to col[1] so you can use each column for a jack for once in this bar. oops good catch
- Better change 01:09:854 - to 01:09:854 - to the same patterns as 01:11:454 - to 01:12:254 - for more variation but not random since you are using different patterns each for twice. added variation, and tried to follow some sort of pattern that you mentioned.
- As you can see, from 01:15:454 - you are first using rolls to the left, and then 01:15:854 - right, so I would suggest 01:16:254 - here to use left roll and then 01:16:654 - right roll for balance. i made some changes to get closer to what you asked for
- 01:18:654 - Some general problem for me starts from here. As I go through this buildup part, the patterns are rather too repetitive for me. As you can see, those continuous jacks are already very challenging, so I wonder if you really can rearrange a bit to mix more patterns into it, like you can move 01:18:954 (78954|1,78954|0) - this kind of double notes to col[2][3], or you can do them to col[1][4]. It is better for you to use patterns that repeats for twice but not four times to actually reduce a bit on the pressure about the original patterns and have more varieties into your map.It continues until 01:37:454 - i did as you asked, made the patterns only repeat twice. feels a lot better now, thanks
- 01:43:054 (103054|3,103104|1) - ctrl+h so that from 01:43:054 - to 01:43:454 - you can have all your notes rolling to the right. i made some changes here, good call
- 01:43:754 (103754|0,103804|1) - Also, ctrl+g so that you can then have notes rolling to the left for the next interval between white lines. Maybe then you can move 01:43:604 (103604|1) - to col[1] for consistency. fixed i think
- 01:44:254 - This whole kiai has some similar problems with 01:18:654 -, as the stacks are repeated for a bit too many times that really add unnecessary pressure to the players. I think you can do something similar as before too, like mixing more patterns and making them repeating for twice each. aye, fixed like the prev. part you mentioned
- 01:50:654 - Double note fits better here as no C sound is present. nah, i think a triple suits it better as it's a heavy sound regardless.
- 02:03:454 - Same as above. You can delete this LN 02:03:454 (123454|0) - instead. same as above, i think the sound is strong enough to require a triple
- 02:06:654 - Something similar as previous rolls. Better making them rolling to one direction between one interval formed by white lines, and then to the inverse for the next. i split up the direction between intervals of two white ticks, but still much better than before
- 02:35:454 - Still similar problem as before. Non-kiai is even much harder than kiai.02:35:554 (155554|1,155954|2,156354|1,156754|2,157154|1,157554|3,158754|2,159154|1,159554|2,159954|1,160754|0,161554|1,161954|2,162354|3,162754|1,163154|3,163554|2,163954|0,165154|0,165554|2,165954|1,166354|2,167154|0,167954|1) - These notes first can be deleted as they are not the major part of the music here. Besides, you don't need those double stacks at all in my opinion, as the drums here don't have such big impact that requires emphasis from the stacks. This ends at 02:48:254 - I did end up removing all the triple jacks in this part, but i still kept the double stacks as i think there's still enough going on to make it reasonable. i want to keep up the intensity going into this part, as the driving kick is still quite intense as well.
- 03:04:254 - 03:07:454 - 03:11:454 - 03:13:854 - 03:14:654 - 03:17:054 - 03:17:854 - 03:20:254 - 03:21:054 - 03:21:854 - 03:22:654 - 03:23:454 - 03:24:254 - 03:25:054 - If you really wanna emphasize, double notes are enough. yup, fixed all
- 03:26:387 (206387|1,206454|2) - How about moving these notes to col[1] and col[2] and then 03:26:254 (206254|2) - make this into a LN that ends at 03:26:654 - ? It resembles what you did for 00:52:654 (52654|1) - alrighty, i made some pattern changes to make it a bit better.
I will continue my check later. I think the map really needs some improvements in its variety and hand balance Since it is a very challenging map, you have to always consider about these elements and mix basic patterns to avoid overly repetitive parts. Good luck!
