It's interesting because we calculate those things by hitting or aiming something, but here we are doing the opposite. What constitutes to be a valid action is boundless because you are not confined to hit or aim a note. I think the only thing you can really use to score is either time or number of onbjects dodged. Combo could be the number of objects dodged in a row. Accuracy could be the % of the object dodged.Aikyuu-Chan wrote:

So, the lowest % accuracy is the winner?abraker wrote:

or we can just have the beginning like 2m or 5m then "decount" when you dont dodge somethingabraker wrote:

I don't think you read through the thread...Andruchon wrote:
I would really love to hear some Info from peppy about this, at least a "yes" or a "no"

Everything is a mystery, but apparantly he is working on it. This was even sticked a month ago, but unsticked after a day or two :OMatutetute wrote:

Nice bump.
I think it could be mapped like catch the beat, but this time, you just have to avoid projectiles I think._DT3 wrote:
I mean, it sure would be interesting but how would you map that?
he isn't ignoring anyone, he has been working on touhosusnyviper wrote:

Hopefully the big osu!next project would include this gamemode.

c; you won't know until osu! next is released! There is still a lot of work to go into it! I would rather not them rush osu!next. I'm sure Touhosu! Will be released by the time osu!next is since mapping this gamemode would need a revamp of the editor to support it.
I agree with you, it's better to not rush osu!next. I rather get things delayed and completed than get things "NOW" with so many mistakes. But I'm not sure they will release Touhosu! with osu!next, it seems that touhosu! will take longer than that x.xCawub wrote:

Peppy is busy with osu!next now so this probably wont happen before he finishes that project.- Lunarys - wrote:

Screenshot of very early stage of a prototype (started like 4.5 days ago, screenshot was from like day 2) I'm making for my game design course. Prototype wont be finished until next Wednesday. I probably wont be able to open source anything until May when the class finishes. Sharing gameplay screenshots/vids/etc. isn't considered a honor code violation though.Akioru wrote:

That will be with character's equipment? Teleports, ghost form, short time immortality and more like that?
Unless you had some sort of target you had to hit to the beat, similar to project DIVA, so this could be an all-inclusive gamemode or somethingjockeytiyan wrote:

Attack? If the player can attack, it should as well be only for points. However, seeing as it is, the proposal is really going for bullet dodging rather than a shooting game. So attacks would be unnecessary without any enemies to put in the first place, and without any purpose but just for points.
