  1. Concerns regarding kiai section selection: 00:57:076 - 01:08:784 - These are pretty similar in music, but only one of them has a kiai. Such inconsistency could've been settled down.
  2. Concerns regarding kiai section volume: 01:38:052 - the volume is literally 100%, which is setted the highest compared to other parts. The setted volume personally felt way too high. Maybe you could've thought that part was one of the most intense part of this song, but that setting made the transition towards 01:51:223 awkward. It doesn't feel like a consecutive kiai section honestly since the volume gets way too weaker. Also not pretty sure it was intended, but the volume there differs with 00:51:223.
[Normal]
  1. 01:38:235 (1) - Where is this spinner ending at? If this was trying to fit the vocals, then I'd say the hitsound usage didn't backed up your intentions fully. It's like using a drum hitsound to express the fading out vocals, while the actual drum sound appearing at 01:40:613 in the music. Fading the hitsound accordingly, or rather just ending at 01:40:613 with the current setting will be more appropriate here. The current design is quite questionable.
[Advanced]
  1. 00:16:649 (2,3) - This overlap could've been improved easily.
[Paloch]
  1. 00:06:771 (5) - 00:33:113 (5) - You somehow lost consistency in NC setting with 00:03:845 (1) - 00:09:698 (1) I guess.
  2. 01:48:845 ~ 01:51:223 - This section feels better when kiai is off, as like other diffs.
  3. 02:14:637 - Why didn't the kiai ended here?
[Skydive]
  1. 02:08:784 - Why does the kiai end at 02:09:515, not here?
  2. 02:11:345 (6,7,8,9) - This volume increase felt way too much.
Quality itself feels pretty fine, but I think you've missed some details.

Yes It's to highlight more vocals. But I will fix becuase If I trying to highlight vocals. Yes, I nust use fading HS. That means Volume will turn lower while Melody is building up. So I think it was really inappropriate in that point. So I fix it. :D

But many points you said is from the BN mods before this. Some time you and his opinion are not same but only thing I can do is just keep an eye on it.

Updated! All fixed. But about spinner. I will ask other BNs about it.

But if this is the issue that will lead to DQ just DQ this quickly lol. I will fix and find mods quickly. :D

If this got dq'd then I would like to throw a mod in here as well
Currently modding now, will post the mod later
CrystilonZ
if this gets disqualified by that sole mod I'll be really upset lol
Well, most things are pretty subjective imo.
But I agree with Sonnyc on some particular matters such as the nc inconsistency in Paloch's diff.
Only time will tell, i guess.

  1. The mp3 seems to have some major clipping and I also thought that it sounds a bit weird when I heard the song for the first time.
    Check here to confirm: t/320007
Consider replacing it if you find a better one.
While we're at it I'd like to come back to this as it was ignored as far as it looks:

In my 5 minutes of extensive search (lol) I found this for example: http://puu.sh/pRasT/c41ca2aaeb.mp3
Only 160kbit/s compared to 192kbit/s but it has no clipping. Imo it sounds better and I'm pretty sure that you can find a 192kbit/s file with no clipping if you search for a bit longer.

Same kiai stuff as Sonnyc mentioned just wanna say that it should be consistenct across the diffs made by the same mapper.
Gonna mod in English so everyone can see what I'm suggesting, apart from hitsounds stuff are just basically my opinion.

[Normal]

  1. OD and HP +1? 3 seems more fit to me since it's Normal.
  2. 00:13:174 (1,2) - Minor but doesn't really flow well with this angle.
  3. 00:24:881 - Other diffs didn't have clap here.
  4. 00:57:076 - Missing finish.
  5. 01:00:003 (1,2) - They're not completely pararell but who cares.
[Advanced]

  1. 02:02:564 - Supposed to be a clap judged by how Normal and Hard have one.
  2. 00:32:198 (1) - Maybe a 1/2 slider + circle stacked on 00:32:747 instead for consistency with 00:26:345 (1,2) . Or it can be another way around too.
  3. 01:02:198 - 01:02:564 - 02:02:198 - 02:02:564 - Hitsound on these places should be consistent across all diffs, personally I prefer claps.
  4. 01:08:418 - Supposed to be a clap instead of finish, also applies to Normal.
  5. 01:14:637 - 01:57:076 - Missing finish? Same as Hard.
  6. 01:29:271 - 01:48:296 - Hitsound inconsistencyyyy
  7. 01:46:832 - Other diffs didn't use auto sampleset here though.
  8. 02:10:796 - A circle can be added here for consistency with 02:09:332 (2) .
[Hard]

  1. OD 6? Optional though, judged by star rating.
  2. 00:13:174 - 01:40:979 - Missing finish.
  3. 00:18:662 - No need for a drum sampleset here, and what's the purpose of that green line anyway?
  4. 00:36:588 - I'm not sure why this finish only exists on this diff but oh well.
  5. 01:30:552 - Missing whistle.
  6. 00:24:881 - Not sure if this is supposed to be a soft or auto sampleset.
  7. 00:56:710 - 01:13:540 - 01:13:723 - 01:27:808 - 01:30:735 - Hitsound inconsistency.
  8. 01:45:918 (3,4,5,6) - Guitar is going more intense yet the spacings on these places are slightly decreasing.
  9. 01:46:832 - Should be clickable with downbeat reasoning but whatever.
  10. 01:56:710 - Soft-Auto.
  11. 02:25:600 - Soft sampleset, also applies to collab diff.
  12. 02:08:784 - Missing finish, also applies to collab diff.
Idk I think I missed some hitsound stuff so better recheck them

[BoatKrab's Light Insane]

  1. 00:07:320 (1,2,3) - These high spacings don't really fit the calm section in the song, compared to smaller spacings you did on 00:01:467 (1,2,3,4) .
  2. 00:08:784 (1,2) - Idk I think symmetry on these can be improved but not a really big matter.
  3. 00:24:332 - 00:24:698 - Drum additions don't really fit on these places.
  4. 00:24:698 (9,1) - The beat on 00:24:881 is very prominent and it should have a bigger spacing here for a proper emphasis.
  5. 00:41:345 (3) - Can be moved a few grids to the right for a proper straight line with 00:40:613 (1,2,3) .
  6. 00:47:015 (4,1) - There's no need to stack this since you didn't do the same thing on 00:45:918 (4,5) - 00:48:113 (4,1) .
  7. 00:54:698 (2,3,4) - I was expecting a consistent spacing here due to vocal.
  8. 01:04:210 (6,1) - 01:04:759 (2,3) - Doesn't flow nice imo.
  9. 01:35:857 (1,2) - 01:36:223 (3,4) - These jumps don't really play well as the music is going on constantly so there's no reason to emphasize anything with jumps here. I suggest swapping 01:36:040 (2,3,4) for a more consistent spacing, something like this
  10. 01:46:284 (4) - Not sure if that whistle on sliderbody is intentional but if it is then you should do the same thing on others sliders in that kiai to keep tracks on guitar.
  11. 01:59:271 - Just my preference but this shouldn't be skipped since you already did prioritize the clap over vocals on 01:57:625 - 01:57:808 . Same applies to 02:09:332 (4) - 02:10:796 (8) .
[Paloch's Insane]

  1. Imo HP 6 is already enough but that's just my two cents so up to you.
  2. 00:55:064 (4) - Place this at [148|200] ? I kinda understand your patterning but it still feels weird when 00:55:064 (4,5) has a bigger spacing than 00:55:247 (5,1) .
  3. 01:08:235 (4) - Suggest rotating the tail towards either 01:08:052 (3) or 01:08:601 (5) for a better flow.
  4. 01:26:345 - 02:14:637 - These parts are less intense than kiai but somehow have the same SV.
  5. 01:43:540 (7,8) - Could have used a smaller spacing here to make 01:43:723 (8,1) more stand out. And the guitar or whatever on 01:43:723 (8) is a lot weaker than 01:43:540 (7) to begin with.
  6. 01:47:015 - A strong guitar landed here, should be clickable.
  7. 01:55:064 (4) - Similar as before.
I don't feel like modding 4.5+* stuff so I'll stop here, hope this helps~

  4. 01:26:345 - 02:14:637 - These parts are less intense than kiai but somehow have the same SV.
  5. 01:43:540 (7,8) - Could have used a smaller spacing here to make 01:43:723 (8,1) more stand out.
I will look at this after the DQ. or not? lol
Thanks for the mod! I will look at Sonnyc's next

Uhh for hitsound inconsistency I mean you didn't do the same thing at [insert timestamp here] in other diffs, so it's more like a suggestion to check the other diffs on those places as well for consistency

  1. 00:07:320 (1,2,3) - These high spacings don't really fit the calm section in the song, compared to smaller spacings you did on 00:01:467 (1,2,3,4) .
  2. 00:08:784 (1,2) - Idk I think symmetry on these can be improved but not a really big matter.
  3. 00:24:332 - 00:24:698 - Drum additions don't really fit on these places. It's okay ;w;
  4. 00:24:698 (9,1) - The beat on 00:24:881 is very prominent and it should have a bigger spacing here for a proper emphasis. It's really big spacing if I make this
  5. 00:41:345 (3) - Can be moved a few grids to the right for a proper straight line with 00:40:613 (1,2,3) . Just make a curved, right?
  6. 00:47:015 (4,1) - There's no need to stack this since you didn't do the same thing on 00:45:918 (4,5) - 00:48:113 (4,1) .
  7. 00:54:698 (2,3,4) - I was expecting a consistent spacing here due to vocal. Sure :D
  8. 01:04:210 (6,1) - 01:04:759 (2,3) - Doesn't flow nice imo.
  9. 01:35:857 (1,2) - 01:36:223 (3,4) - These jumps don't really play well as the music is going on constantly so there's no reason to emphasize anything with jumps here.

Paloch hasn't replied yet to the issues given by Sonnyc and Electoz. Please, poke back once he does this.

Boat
01:38:052 - Reduce the volume of this green like to 85% Consider doing the same here 01:43:906 - 01:48:296 -

Oh sorry. I didn't say that Paloch told me on fb that he won't fix electoz's suggestion and he gave me to handle all timing and NC issues in the Sonnyc's mod.

Sorry. :D
HappyRocket88
Would you mind to provide the reasons why he decided to not apply Electoz's suggestions? At least give him a proper reply imo since he took the time to mod all the difficulties imo.

He says he wanted to fix but he doesn't know how. < A translation just in case you're wondering
mmm that's weird cuz I provide a suggestion on how to fix on some of the suggestions though. But that's up to him or whoever's handling this set
Anyways in my opinion the thing that was bugging me the most is the slider velocity in some parts I mentioned earlier, if he decided not to fix then I'll leave that to the others to decide.
HappyRocket88
Electoz, I did agree with you in some of your points though; but the SV change is somewhat uneven to the mapper due to there's no need to low the SV when you can manage a low DS instead. That section is clearly easier that the upcoming kiai time so the mapper can just decides to how this section should be intentionally less insane than the other parts.

From Electoz's mod. Sorry for not applying your mods, I've been somewhat a bit busy with my summer course and I have just realized that I had overread some interesting mods. I'll apply them tonight then :)
To rocket kun, thank you for the advices eiei :) and sorry for all the problems caused by my diff

Same kiai stuff as Sonnyc mentioned just wanna say that it should be consistenct across the diffs made by the same mapper.
Gonna mod in English so everyone can see what I'm suggesting, apart from hitsounds stuff are just basically my opinion.

I made this spacing of a group of slider and circle to be larger with circle hits at the same point, I don't think that it's weird though?
  3. 01:08:235 (4) - Suggest rotating the tail towards either 01:08:052 (3) or 01:08:601 (5) for a better flow.I'm not sure about this, but the tail of the repeat slider will be used as a lot more anchoring points of notes to come as well, so I'll keep it for now
  4. 01:26:345 - 02:14:637 - These parts are less intense than kiai but somehow have the same SV.as discussed, I'm not changing this YET, but if required I'll reduce the DS instead
  5. 01:43:540 (7,8) - Could have used a smaller spacing here to make 01:43:723 (8,1) more stand out. And the guitar or whatever on 01:43:723 (8) is a lot weaker than 01:43:540 (7) to begin with.I really need some advice here, for most of the time I hardly follow the guitar as the main instruments unless it is extremely dominant such as 01:43:906, on FILL INS (transition measures) I follow mostly the drums. I think that I have mistakenly placed the drum_hitfinish for the (8), but actually it's a soft_hitclap (snare sound, I have changed it for now) which imo I think that it is a really large beat for a jump to be used (that I equalized the jump of 7-8 and 8-1). And that I use sliders for guitar slurs to emphasize the difference of drums/piano and guitar slurs follows. If this point really requires modification (critical for ranking or will get the map another DQ) please let me know so that I can rework on it
  6. 01:47:015 - A strong guitar landed here, should be clickable. strong snare as well and the guitar is not getting much of my attention, anywayI added a circle for that I've changed my mind, the guitar is strong though, but the feeling of a pitch bended note really gives me a feeling that it was not so strong after all
  7. 01:55:064 (4) - Similar as before.Actually this is the exact same idea as before, thanks for pointing it out because it is NOT the same as 00:55:064 (4) in terms of circle position, I've reworked on this. Thanks
Sorry for not answering the mods, I felt so bad for that sorry Electoz.

Paloch.
Remove this part to stop being kiai 01:48:845 - as well as the other difficulties do.

Invertier
02:00:003 - Why is this kiai time when 01:00:003 - isn't? Consider applying that effect here 01:00:003 - too, otherwise remove the whole effect that you did here 02:00:003 -
01:57:076 - - Why this section doesn't have kiai time when you did the same here 01:08:784 - ? I know you guys have the right to choose the kiai according to your reasoning, but in this case it doesn't make sense when the song is exactly the same on both parts. Thus, this might be inconsistency with the other difficulties because there's no need of setting different kiai times according to how this difficulty handled the kiai.

Points offered by Sonnyc and Electoz were replied and applied correspondingly the issues which made this map being disqualified. I still believe this set has potential! Poke me back to re-check.
